Agree with bob the 2002 interior revisions made quite a difference IMHO. 2004 is nicer still

The biggest difference is the change from a carpet to leather centre consol. It really lifts the cabin and raises the quality IMHO. Of course early owners can buy an aftermarket item

Dream Weaver - what year car did you try? I used to find my MY02 a bit cramped (i'm 6 foot) but my MY04 is much betterer.

The "hump" in the floor is the crossframe, which gives it stronger chassis than a lot of cars, hence loads of people bin them sideways at speed and walk away:

Even this the guy walked away from (LHD):

Ah I thought he meant the bit going width-ways, present in both passenger and driverside.

I did mean the bit going sideways, gets in the way when you climb in.

I have to admit to a big moment of weakness and throwing the toys out the pan, but im back on track. Honda now doing the sump on Fri and if that goes fine it will be done next weekend!

Plus id rather get stick of just Rich for changing my mind, than about 1000 people that know im doing it, for bottling it

Car's been feckin ace today (load of snow here!). Holding it in massive perfect sideways drifts up the road. Tweaking it to point exactly where you want to. Wheelspins in 5th on the snow too I spose it helps i have bearly legal tyres!

Its cold but dry here and mines has been pulling MEGA hard today!! I put her nicely sideways in a straightline on the 1st-2nd change! From 8000rpm-9000rpm it is explosive I think she took a liking to the batch of optimax it got this morning as well - you know when you get that 'special' tank of fuel that just seems to agree

T-uk reckons I'd have my work cut out with you at Crail Kenny. I think he may be right, mine is full of silly heavy extras.

hi guys, would like to know your comments on a deal i have on the table.
i have been offered £12k for my 03 wrx ppp 29k on clock (big 30k service looming) in part ex for a 52 plate s2000 49k on clock at £15k. its black with black leather.

I have been wanting a change for some months now & to be honest this is the only car i fancy, but was willing to wait until new year until i saw this one nearby. To me it doesn't seem a bad deal & although im 6' 4" i feel comfortable enough in it, i guess i just feel nervous about letting my scoob go & getting a 2 seater/convertable for the first time.

p.s. im on my own here, the rest of my family want me to keep the scoob.

dave.
