Because of what you typed about roads not being racetracks He's a careful driver on the road and saves it for the track.

I see, that explains why a 316 badge is needed, that must come in really handy for track days

Apologies

Jealous, that is perfect, looks like a standard aging 3 series 318 coupe, easy meat for anything half decent (even my Saab), usually run by young lads on the cheap and it has an M3 engine which makes it way cooler than an M3.

What does stage one entail ?

If its not to nosey, how much was it ?

When the ineviatable happens and you want to get rid, can you give me a shout ?

If I havent actually bought an M3 by then.

Nice one, glad the old girl is still going. Despite the kicking I gave it for 2 1/2 years non stop As for brakes, they are EBC discs and redstuff pads. Not ideal (the pads are too hard for my tastes) but better than standard thats for sure.

As I understand it porting and polishing has been carried out, However I cant be sure. I'm going to be contacting jamsport as there is one of thier stamps in the service book. Full BM history service book as well

No problem
Awesoem sleeper! Whats the 0=60mph time? Do you get nice drifts with it?
Not sure of the 0-60, but I intend to find out. As for the drifting, its pretty much a straight line deal because of the open diff and I'm too scared to use lift off on the roads , the diff will come, then the drifts shortly after.

Glad everyone likes it
astraboy.

Wolf in sheeps aye. Not a fan of BM's personally but if your happy then who cares . Also i believe it was in BMW Performance [had a quick flick cause of the front cover] a tunning company had droped an M5 engine in a M3 and because they were left with the M3 engine, they decided to stick that in the little coupe thing, Compact!, just remembered. Now that's all wrong wouldn't you say, but fookin' quick i bet

Oh and on the way home I went into a BMW dealership. a 316 badge costs 17 quid brand new, so I will pay a visit to a scrappy and do the honourable thing after handing over a fiver for the goods
astraboy.

80%? Even a 40% locking mechanical diff will make it difficult to drive on the road......
