And for the record, I'd like to point out that, technically, Bungle-***** should be hyphenated!

In fact, when I married InvisibleMan there was much debate about me taking his name - we tried to settle on a combination of the two but Invisible Drunken Man ***** just didn't seem right.....

I've known 2 people with triple barrelled names:

Mr. Wilson-Hutton-Stott and Mr. Cave-Brown-Cave.

The later is extra bizarre because the same name crops up twice.

Nail - head.

If you dont want to "loose" your name, dont get married. If you want a double married name or to retain your old name. Dont expect the man to consider you as likely to be a long term proposition.

I can't believe some of these comments, what difference does someone's surname make to the longevity of a marriage? I would say those that have strong opinions are a little on the possessive side, and don't really have that much respect for their partners

I'd take the wise's middle name because her's is kewl and mine sucks *****!

I just can't because it would be an admission of disapproval to my father, and everyone I know would think I was under the thumb!

you choose!

Messulam or Segal!
