Each to their own. I quite like the rear lights although can't make my mind up about the badge. On saying that, I remember when Subaru brought the bug eye out and I though they had ruined things. Now I have one !!!!!!
Nice motor mate.

I think i know why Chris let his wife drive the car from Lit...she would be less likely to ragg the car in if 'run in period'. But i don't know mrs chris, so i would not know.

She drove like a Beaaaaaatch on the way down, Didn't set the bleepy thing off once that was set at 4000 RPM lol, i was in a Pegeot 309 Diesel, and had to wait for her a couple of times lol.

Looks really nice... I'm a really big fan of the MY06 styling now, except the rear lights, love the Blob Rears with a subtle tint that was seen on a Crystal Grey USDM STi recently.
Performance wise, how does it compare to your old STi V6??
Cheers,
Grant

grant, there's no comparison, the handling was good with the old v6,I felt like I was on the road in the v6,or should I say ,I could feel the road, have to say though (puts flame prove jacket on), I'm not sure I like the handling of the 06 yet, It only takes a nats knackers of a turn on the wheel and your off in a different direction lol. I think i've bought it at the wrong time of year as the roads are very greasy now, and i'm a little un-nerved by the steering, bit like driving on marbles at the mo. But suspension is rock soild, no roll whatsoever.
Performance wise, the engine's still a little tight with only 250 ish miles on the clock, but she wants to go lol. i thought my classic v6 was quick at the botton end, 2nd gear was awsome on it, will just have to wait and see what this will be like after its 1000 mile service. Did want to get it type 20'd at the 1000 miles, but the missus is taking a little more convincing. And I'm really pi$$ed off the "Flat four" burble has gone, that may be down the equal length headers ( I stand to be corrected)
