I've driven a Merc CL600 twin turbo, and been in a CL65AMG with my mate driving.
Also been in a Mazda Gr A hybrid rally car, and a 1997 Gr A Impreza. They felt a whole lot quicker than the Mercs.

Bentley Continetal T (old school version) probably has the most torque out the rest I've driven....650lb/ft of OMFG grunt from a meer 2000rpm
With the current Continental GT flagging in at a close second with 551bhp, but a "weedy" 480lb/ft

See the link for what I wrote when I first drove it (don`t worry, it`s not an essay or anything).

As I said back then, just calling it as I see it.

fastest thing ive driven is a tvr griffith 500 ,340 bhp ,475 nm of torque in a car that weighs 1 ton exactly,,it was just menal fast.
As regards the sagaris i dont think you pushed the loud pedal down hard enough for long enough because at 4oo bhp it must be quicker than the griffiths and the griffiths and my scooby werent even comparable,,imagine a scooby against a corsa and it was that different, the quoted 0-60 was 4.0 seconds .It would take a blummin highly tuned scooby to pull off 340bhp/ton,,like a 500 bhp tuned scooby,,whats a standard uk sti 265 about 180 bhp / ton ??Another engine in the boot then and you might be getting close.

Mates Lambo Diablo
and Caterham blackbird it was totally totally mad, quickest thing i have ever driven round oulton park.
And as posted above all the palmer stuff, Love the Audi but the JP1 special is mental and the clio cup car is very very tempting as a tarmac car.

TVR Cerbera 4.2 - 370 BHP I think. BIG grin factor, and more road presence than most sports cars.
Took some footage on a private road, did a drive past at 120ish, then backed off. You can hear fantastic v8 burble when the cars over 1/4 mile away.
Did 300 miles, and it didn't break!

The most powerful vehicle i`ve driven is most probably my scoob, unless the volvo lorry I learnt to do my C`s in had more power, Certainly would of had more torque. The most powerful thing i`ve been a passenger in was a 427 DWR Cobra with around 550Bhp, **** it was quick.

Yeah, I know what the figures say, etc, etc........but maybe the lack of a turbo, and the shove in the back that it gives you, made the TVR, with its more linear power delivery, feel a bit less brutal than I thought it would.
