PowerStation T25 Suspension Kit - WOW
aggs is dead right.
When you get to the change to the very excellent AST's you need to think about the real use of the car.
I hillclimb mine and drive to/from the events on A/Motorways and some B roads (3000 miles in all/year)
It is not a daily driver (though could easily be one)
I have 60/50 rated springs and the car is slower than the stock Sti v3 on rough A roads, but only because I have a lot of mechanical sympathy (I'm a professional Engineer).
The car is modified to be a hard core hillclimber (within the class regs) and for the fab performance of these units slowly down pheasant riddled B roads is ok (I have a FMIC!!).
Get them on a track and they are sublime.
Mustn't forget the need for a bloody good technician for the set-up though!

On smooth roads/track the car is in a different league. Direct, with loads off feedback and as controllable as a go-kart.
Well mine are a LOT more comfortable than the OEM Forester STi originals, even with 70 N/mm front and 50 N/mm rear. Bumpy roads I hated before are all ironed out now, the bump and bounce is eliminated. They just soak it up, keeping the rubber firmly on the road. Firm but very supple, very wife-friendly for those that have to contend with such matters... NVH and particularly the old tendency to 'jiggle' on anything but the smoothest surfaces is hugely improved.
It must be those new springs, the 'Curtis specials'
