Thank you for your response. A lot of laser jammer companies will provide jammers for the test, especially if it is going to be in a magazine.

ONly reason I asked where the jammers were being provided from is that one company could send a juiced unit if it comes from them directly so I thinks it's only fair to all units sent from the companies if one unit comes from the company. I have been around laser jammer tests enough to know how to and want fair results for all the companies present

I am pretty confident that I can get a Scooby owner with each of the units fitted

No pre fiddled units

how did ya go phil??? I remember the last subaru cruise we had over 150 WRX there...was a massive turnot with a huge boxer roar

Will be good to see how the test goes.

Rob, if you have no interest in subaru then go away. this is a subaru forum...not a volvo forum...

ok this might seem a little picky but if the defender 2 is so good and it sends laser guns haywire wont it tempt the police to pull u over? might not be able to get for using the device but they sure can go over your car with a fine toothcomb. would think a device that warns u of speeds traps and laser guns would be better then something that jams them???

no it wont screw them up...it will just give a clear tone...not display speed...if you only set it for a few seconds then you wont arise any suspision...somtimes the laser gun can take a few secs to lock on.

Default Jam code free

We don't display Jam codes on the guns so there is no suspicion of being jammed.
This is the same for all UK laser guns and the Defender2 is still the ONLY laser jammer on the market to JAM all UK laser guns including the Unipar SL700

Costs are slightly higher as we use x4 laser diodes instead of just x1 like some of the other systems on the market.
We also use the highest quality materials of any system available for our casing and brackets and these are also all anodised.
The Defender2 has 3 on board processors as well and is basically a mini computer.

I bought a defender2 last week and it's amazing. I have personally tested the Blinder, Lidatek, and Target and the defender2 was definitly worth waiting for. I'd post the test videos, but I think Neil already has. Don't want to spam the board.

I test laser jammers as a hobby. If you guys have any questions about jammers let me know. The Def2 is worth the money.

I really like how the UK model has a timer on it because you know we'd have problems if jerk off drivers were jamming cops to the gun. As if they don't know jammers are illegal?

Maybe I'm just a little biased on my lidar guns, but I've found the Atlanta to be the hardest gun hands down to beat. Not just "one of", but "the hardest." Give LA some credit. Their engineers are top notch. Glad you guys can stop them when others have trouble. That in itself is an engineering milestone.

Welcome Newbie

Phil, have you had your jammer tested? If you know a guy with a laser gun have him test it at a real world angle. Have the officer stand only 10 meters from the road and the lidatek or Target will not jam for a second. The beam divergence in those units are narrow. They use a cheap plastic for the diode and it's only 45W to begin with.

Once Neil has found a venue I have said I will help arrange a real life test with various units fitted and with various guns

So that an impartial test can be carried out

That's awesome. I hope you guys bring some camcorders to video tape the testing.

The defender2 is the only jammer that can jam stealth mode. Make sure the Laser Atlanta gun is at the test if you can get ahold of one.

You'll see some def2 vs stealth mode videos very soon.

Nope, I've just recently tested their product. If you must know I work for the other side....a manufacturer, but not for a jammer company ;-)

This thread is confusing and a bit fishy. Numbers of new posters, a product that maybe exists but can you buy it? Does it work? Not the best way to sell a product if its not ready! Im interested in buying a jammer too.
