I'm afraid we cant do remaps on Turbocharged Automatics... far too risky.

Dan,
We'd be looking around a gain of approximately 30 bhp

JPS3290,
We couldn't "guess" what you'd end up going away with as there are too many variables, gains though, would be around 30 to 40 BHP

Ok, we have a list of 11 people so far, I'd say it was a goer. : so now everyone is here I think it's time to book yourselves in with any of the other work you also want done.
Mention your net name so we can see who's who.

Appreciate the reply Andy. 30-40 is about what i'd expect. I'm guessing torque would increase the same ?

Im definitely interested. Will get back to you shortly

I have an 05 STI with PPP and STi panel filter. Could I get that remapped then for the price quoted? Would there actually be any improvement over the standard prodrive map? If so, I'm defintely interested!

Cheers.

I've got a late 97 Ver 5 Type R, it's has full Blitz Nur Spec, turbo back, Blitz Cone Filter and Blitz BOV, i read in some of the earlier posts the it was post '98 cars, would this exclude mine?

I'll try calling in the morning to discuss my options.

Thanks Mark

It can still be tuned Mark, just not a ECUtek because of it's age

What sort of set up would i be looking at, or is just best i call you in the morning?
My mates brother co-owns Danzio Performance in the States http://www.danzioperformance.com/ and they use Haltech management, which i've been recommended, but i'm not sure what to go with.
The other thing is the car is still limited to 120mph [which is just embarasing] so this is something else i'm also looking at having resolved.
With the exhaust i haven't put the down pipe on yet because of fueling fears, i was led to believe that the v5 ecu's tend to let the car run lean at top end, so until fueling was sorted i didn't want to put it on in fear of melting something expensive!!!!

Your advice would be greatfully received.

At the risk of sounding like a complete numpty ...

What does the 3 port solenoid do and why is it better?

Cut n paste from Bob Rawle's website

Installation of the 3-port boost solenoid valve (if the particular vehicle requires). A 2-port solenoid boost valve has been used on some later models. This does not provide the same degree of control, precision and accuracy hence the recommendation to change.

Ok .. I'm booked in for this Friday

Anyone else up there?

My car (04 wrx) only has a backbox and is otherwise standard ... is there anything that is an absolute must for me to fit in order to feel a difference?

PS ..
I still dont really get the 3 port thingy.

Has anyone got a more technical answer?

cheers

You might need an uprated fuel pump.

Might need a fuel pump although mine didn't (but some do) and you should change the hose that goes from the turbo to the intercooler for something like a Samco hose as the standard hose has a habit of blowing when the boost is turned up (this hose is replaced when PPP is fitted so they know it's a weak link)

So how far in advance can someone book to take up this offer?

Just working out if i will be able to afford it

How much else will i need to pay for the pump and samco hose etc on top of the 500?

At the mo i have standard down pipe with H&S centre and back.

What gains would i get as it is and what gains would i get with the decatted down?

Sorry for all the questions, need to understand how much extra performance ratio to debt my car will be getting me into

Depends what scooby you got depends on what gains you will achieve, A WRX with a full decat and uprated fuel pump will be looking at 270-280bhp.

Do you need to upgrade the fuel pump on a classic MY00 remap as well ?

I'm watching this GB with interest and trying to put together a budget.

It's recommended that it's cheanged YES.
Price wise we do them at £105
fitting costs would be £50

all plus vat.
