Conlution:
Iam certain the torque figuers are wrong,in a few weeks iam going to try and get on a dyno pack at least this way wheels wont be spinning and i will get a more acurate fig.
Has anyone else ever experianced this@Powerstation

Pleased with that from a TD05 16G 90degree entry.

Anyway, what's wrong with revving it to 7900, max power was at 7700.

Shut the bonnet and direct air at the intercooler from the front of the car as it would see on the road for a more realistic result.
Regardless of how much airflow you try to put on the car, nothing is remotely affordable that would allow airflow and temps the same as experienced on the road (and nothing I am aware that Joe Bloggs can use), so I would suggest that any benefit of having the bonnet open with a TMIC cold air feed is hardly going to massage any figures..... only make them more accurate to what they would be on the road (as even that setup would fall short of what is experienced on the road... so how further short would a single direction fan at the front pushing out what a 40-60mph air speed be when the car is achieving speeds of 100mph+ and on the road actually receiving wind speeds and temperatures associated with that speed).
Obviously the TMIC fan is only of benefit to the TMIC guys, but as people will know that have analysed figures..... when on the road, Inlet temps rise less than what they would on a dyno and I have recorded less of an increase (while still not being as low as the road) on a setup with a TMIC fan than of that, that doesnt have one (even greater increase than that of a setup with a TMIC fan, so getting even further away from what real road conditions are like). I know which one gives me a better comparison against road conditions.
You tend to examine these things when you have run your car over 50 times on various rollers over the past 6 months!

Shaun.

I agree with Shaun about the RR cooling, having run my car both at powerstation and Scoobyclinic now, i must say that the 'dyno cell' at powerstation has got to be the closest to real world conditions i have seen so far.
However i still got similar intake temp figures at both venues, both up at 75C at the throttle body .
Never see any more that 45-50C on the road even when thrashing it.
That sort of difference in intake temp to the engine can and will make a noticeable difference to the power it produces.
