Thanks for the quick feedback - I didn't mean to imply that you'd sent out duff wheels. So, as the tyres wear down, is it advisable to get the wheels rebalanced periodically to take the reduced weight of rubber into account?

Was mentioned that no blokes would be allowed near the shoot but if they're using the car....it would be defenceless against jewellery and high heels....can't let that happen!

I am in no hurry for the wheels so it dont bother me as much, but if i was julian I would ask for a refund cos they sure dont do next day !!!

Got mine (polished face gunmetal GRA's) today but they were supposed to have been shipped on Monday, so a very long 24 hours. Reckon they should have words. Makes no odds to me as I'm not likely to get them fitted until the weekend anyway, unless I weaken and let the dealer fit em for me during the service tomorrow.

I only had time for a brief glance at the wheels in daylight so I carted one up to my flat this evening. I noticed a few scuffs around the rim, minor scratches on the spokes and a few pits in the surface. You can also quite clearly see it's been polished by something pretty industrial. They look great from a few feet and no doubt will get a bit scratched in use so I'm probably being too picky. Anyone else noticed the same on theirs?

Also was suprised to see it weigh 18Kg with tyre but thinking about it I guess that's about right.

All that said I can't wait to get em on the scoob and for £785 all-in they're a flippin bargain, cheers Simon

Now i can finally post on here (mine is the red classic with the polished face GRAs in Simons pics) i thought i'd come on and say these wheels are quality and if you fancy them go for it cos there at a bargain price and you won't regret it!

Mine still do feel a little slippy - especially tell in the wet...

4 wheel drift in the works car park this morning was entertaining....

I'll go steady for a few miles yet methinks...

 

toyos always felt slippy to me, hence they understeered alot too.

 

They will soon scrub up.... that will help with the corners
I have my original 16's still so I will probably put them on for a month or two over winter that should help protect them a little especially if we have the winter they forcast.

Still undecided about which colour to go for, im leaning towards the steel greys at the moment. Does anyone else have an opinion on what might look best on this?

Got the wheels on yesterday at work, look superb but boy did they look low profile! Drove home in them and thought the ride was a bit harsher than I expected. But never mind, nice wheels

Drove to and from work today, something still nagging me, ride too hard.
It's only just dawned on me what was wrong Flashlight in hand I've just gone out to check. Yep, that they've sent me 215/35's and not 225/40's. D'oh!

I thought 225/40 was extreme (for me anyway!). Guess I've lived up to my forum handle in style, what a noob
