Really good day out, plus the weather was good! THe group i followed back was mental, sorry to the guy behind me who got stuck at the lights.
Who's was the blue RA i followed back i turned off before the pub, good run back to Duffield. Oh and if anyone has got the route map still any chance of scanning the first part and sending it to me, as i wouldnt mind have a drive round there again.
Cheers all.

I had a fantastic day - a big Thank You not only to the organisers but also to everyone who made me and my friend Bex feel so welcome - its not always easy meeting up with people you don't know
Very sorry for the multiple 'U Turn' when i missed the turning for the final pub - had i actually realised i had ten (!!!) Scoobs behind me then i would have simply carried along and gone the long way around to the pub - i though there was only me and steveatkins205
Speaking of which - MASSIVE THANKS to Steve and his co-pilot for sticking with me when i was short of fuel - i hope the action later in the day made up for it! Just glad you didn't see my off roading antics earlier ... ho-hum!
LOL@Shaun and His Son on the way home - if he liked the car then he'll love these photo's of it : http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?p=5178978
Thanks once again guys

It was spot on.....
Even the scuffed alloy, very poorly clutch, stone chipped windscreen and apathetic brakes didn't spoil the fun.....although the brakes made it entertaining...(even more entertaining I should say)
I'll be handing my 2 hrs of video in to get added to the collection.....

That would be me I'm not that quick compared to most of em! Although I certainly do know the roads
You will also noticed I slowed the group down for known & 'live' hazards and 30/40 limits

Great Day Out All, but I would advise not to do a mid tour petrol hunt next time Big thanks to my Navigator, we only went wrong twice, just because I didn't listen to directions being given Looking forward to next year now, normally around March Time if I remember correctly! What do you think, Marv and Paul ?? wanna set a date??
I would strongly advise everyone gets a CB only £15 each from Argos and it really helps!
Hope to see you all for the next one
Dave

OH AND WHAT A DAY
BIG THANKS TO MARV & PAUL.
The peak run was an outstanding success, clear blue skies, cool weather conditions, scenery, lunch (although the car park was packed jammed full of nice scoobies) and of course, the group that attended .
The organisation, issuing of route maps and directions, safety awareness brief and general atmosphere was great. This was my first time; however, it will not be my last as I had a fantastic day.
Shardlow – Maybe mine ! Did you see any smoke from the exhaust (recent rebuild) and still not on full boost, plus the accelerator cable has been adjusted to rev to 6000rpm only.
Billsandhu – Always the worse position to be in, the front car with a handheld map. Great skills though, well directed and a throaty sound from ya motor.
Everyone else - great day thanks.
Lastly back to the organisers - THANK YOU AGAIN

Our group evern stopped and gave a young lady in a silver Audi a push due to pulling over for a horse box on wet grass bank and getting well bogged in a on the Weaver hill diversion.

The group i was in copped for the old guy taking down numbers - if he's owt like myb old man, he'll have been there with pen and apaper for the Devilment rather than actually writing anything down, he'd be wasting his time anyway!
