No worries Mark.
He`ll be all too important in the main paddock to bother coming out to see us no doubt!!
Next time he comes down for a few beers(whenever that might be last time we got very pissed and went trail riding the next day!!) come down with him in case he gets lost.
Driver.
Get him to get another race bike so I can have a go on it!!
he`s ridden just about every bike I own bout time he re payed the favour I reckon!!!

Arron,
I wasn't having a dig or anything. I know, and I'm sure they certainly do that they are a long way off from the required platform to be competitive against the BSB/WSB boys. As far as I'm concerned it's good to see KTM having a go at road racing with the Super Duke, and lets just hope that things start to work out well for team and rider.
God knows how on earth they will cope w/out the bike being fully faired though!?!

Wow, Really is a small world.
I remember Pete Jennings quite well. Think he was riding 600s back when I was racing.
Your name also rings a bell ( Mark Reynolds ). Was you riding 600s back in about 1994?
Found this old pic of me from 94. Esses at Mallory Park....
My name is Andy Jones BTW.

Andy was Pete as crap then as he is now???
Did either of you meet the late Darren Sullivan "Sully" ever??
He was always getting his pierced bits out as I recall??
CB500 then Hornets I would say 2002/2001.
Great guy always up for the crack proper Jackass style that eventually cost him his life.

From what I remember Pete was a fairly near the front runner back then and you tend to get better in the racing game..
Sorry I dont remember Sully, But I quit racing back in 95 and have not followed it since quitting ( apart from moto GP ).
Sullys death must have been a bad time for you . Is he one of the lads you sponsered ?
Can be a cruel game...

Andy,
that pic is from 94 EMRA championship i think. we dont know each other to talk to but in 94 i was cleaning up in supersport 400 on a kawasaki. think i won 2 EMRA championships that year and IIRC our paths have crossed in the Drayton croft trophy, i would sometimes go in this if it was wet and think i had a best of 2nd that year on my 400 so thats where you know the name. love to say i kicked your *** but i cant remember Pete was riding a 600 by then and doing well.
Driver, didnt know Sully im afraid. tried to dig out some old pics of PJ for you but not got them anymore

Mark.
Your right 94 EMRA Championship.
However Dont think you would have kicked my *** as I won the 250, 750open and the drayton croft Mallory trophy that year. Also broke me pelvis, thigh, ribs, finger and took a good bang to the head in the last round.
Was all good fun though.

DRIVER YOU LOOK IMPOSSIBLY AND FANTASTICALLY COOL IN THEM SHOTS!
BTW, i am having a couple of extensions on the house early next year and will be in the market for some windows. do you recommend Anglian, or should i try Anglia.
still cracking up this morning remembering the barons plastic surgery!! look at the picture of Andy on the TZ and see what im on about with your upper body and outer forearm. top style that BTW Andy. Not got any digi pics of me unfortunately.
Andy you are either sadder than me, or you still have old programs or the booklet from the presentations. Was that the year Chris Walker beat me in one of them championships? IIRC he also had an RS250 out at the end of the year, how did you get on against him? Phil Weston, yeah still see his brother Dave (ex 250 boy as well) at the race schoolS.
Think you were known as the first guy on a 250 to win the DCMT?????
the amount of times alan moreton smacked his head around and hurt himself im suprised he was not serving in maccy d's. lovely bloke though.

I second that
( should keep him happy )
Mark.
It probably looks like im a sad b*stard, but im not ( honest ) . I have not looked at any of the old racing stuff for years, not a single picture/trophy anywhere to be seen. Had kind of blocked out the old racing days.
When I told the misses about this thread she went up in the attic and dug out loads of photos, programmes and even the booklet from the dinner/dance at sketchley.
I was quite good friends with Dave Weston but never knew Phill was his brother. How crazy is that!
Yeah I was the first 250 to win the DCMT but it didnt do me any good as I never did get a single sponsor and was forced to quit in 95 due to serious financial problems.
It was Chris Walker who won the 400 formula that year, but he never beat me on that RS250, Im sure if I kept racing he would have kicked my *** the year after.
Its funny you should say that about Alan Morton as when I saw him his face was dropped on one side due to all the bangs on the head but he said it was getting better.
You should scan one of your old racing photos and I will see if I recognise your bike.
Must appologise to all you scoobynetters for this boring thread

Driver. did you catch up with the driver yesterday?? did not pick him up on the telly, where you normally see him trying to look cool.
no scanner andy, so i have took some pics of pics. bit wierd how reminiscent and dewy eyed you get when you get the old photos out aint it.
one for you first driver, your GODLIKE style is exactly like mine so i ought so stop banging on about your upper body and forearm , who needs top style like Andy when the motocross arms out style ( i.e you and i) looks far more aggresive.

Andy dont know when you were around but a couple of interesting pics for you.
ignore the idiot on the floor (i.e me at end of 92 ) thats shaun ***** to the right on the KR1-s and Dave weston to the left in the white leathers.

pic from 93 on an RGV250. if you were racing with EMRA then we would have lined up together cos i used to go in the open class 250 races as well as supersport.

94, picked up a lot of help mid year so early on i was on the wasp coloured bike, then changed colours to the red one.
