This is the top of the range Impreza in the classic shape (best shape IMHO). No expense has been spared on this car by myself and its previous owners. I am the 4th owner of this car since it being in this country.
The mileage is currently at a genuine 31,000 miles, and has been serviced regularly by my local garage...Wayne @ HBP Motors. The last oil, filter and coolant change was done less then 1000 miles ago. Silkolene fully synthetic oil has been used throught its life. Any HPI / RAC / AA inspection or such is welcome.
The car has been fitted with a Cobra CAT1 alarm / immobiliser. Certificate is included.
The V-Limited Type RA is one of the rarest Impreza's in the classic shape. It has all the hardcore features of the RA, yet having all the electric bits such as electric windows (front and rear), central locking, air con, climate control and roof scoop, etc etc. The car has 10 months MOT and 10 months tax.
As standard it comes with all the STi bits as follows:
STi / Group N 5 speed close ratio gearbox
STi pedals
STi short ratio steering rack
STi blue velour / suede bucket seats
STi Intercooler water sprayer, modified for front mount intercooler
STi short shifter
Adjustable centre differential (DCCD)
The car has some excellent and well thought out modifications on it, which include:
Hayward and Scott Exhaust System
HKS Front mount intercooler
HKS exhaust manifolds
HKS Racing Suction Kit
HKS dials (oil temp, exhaust gas temps, fuel pressure, boost pressure) in carbon fibre fascia
HKS dump valve
Spec-R header tank
Spec-R battery cover
Spec R windscreen washer bottle
Group N down pipe
Group N mid pipe
Upgraded Turbo dynamics turbo
Uprated fuel system (apexi 550cc injectors, SX fuel pump, SX regulator and uprated fuel lines)
Uprated clutch and lightweight flywheel
18" P1 Alloys with 215/35/18 ZR Toyo Proxies all round
Adjustable Leda Coilovers
Powerstation bump steer modification
Powerstation geometry setup
AP Racing 4 pot callipers up front
AP Racing grooved and drilled brake discs up front and Ferodo DS2500 pads
Standard rear brakes and Ferodo DS2500 pads
STi Carbon Fibre front strutbrace
STi anti roll bars
STi anti lift bars
Polyurethane bushes all round
Tinted windows (very very lightly)
Clear headlights
JVC component and rear speakers
JVC headunit and disc changer
To top it off the cars engine management system runs on a Gems ECU mapped by Steve Simpson. It runs sweet as a whistle. I will be getting it remapped just for my peace of mind before i sell it.
The car is mapped for Shell Optimax, however it has a 2 stage switch. Hence if you cannot find Optimax it allows you to flick a switch and allow you to run on 95 RON fuel. The Gems ECU has also been mapped so that the "check engine light" acts as a shift light, and a beeper to warn you when the diff is locking in 5th gear.
I have all the receipts for the above except for the Gems ECU ( i assume it was a cash deal by the previous owner), but you are more then welcome to check that it is actually a Gems ECU. You'll notice it as soon as you drive it. The car was recently rolling roaded at 363BHP and 352LB-FT of torque...you just need to drive it to feel this kind of power.
I have receipts adding upto approximately £27,000 by previous owners (you can add it up yourself). The car has never been in a timed event nor on track.
The car is an absolute minter. The bodywork is in immaculate condition, except for some tiny kerbing on the alloys and 2 tiny dings on each side of the car. Autoglym and Mur products are always used to clean the car. The car was magazine featured in Japanese Performance mag back in 2002 (magazine is included in the sale). No expense has been spared on this car. It runs clean as a whistle and the power delivery is neck breaking. It goes through the close ratio gearbox like a hot knife through butter...really slick. The burble from the flat 4 engine is immense, yet subtle at motorway speeds. Once you open up that throttle though, this thing screams at you. At 80MPH in 5th, this car is just tempting you to keep revving it.
Included in the sale is a spare P1 18" rim including tyre and also the standard cat pipe.
I am looking for £14,495 ONO.
My Contact number is 07799 146674. Best time to contact me is after 5pm.
No timewasters, test pilots, tyre kickers. You'll be wasting your own time as well as mine.
PICTURES TO FOLLOW SHORTLY.
Best Regards...

I had a V5 sti V Ltd Sti and sold it a couple of months ago to rooferman with just a Tek3 remap and that quite happily pulled 12.5 sec quarters on a regular basis .
This spec is fantastic and if I'd had the money this is the route to take
Pictures look fookin great mate , good luck
That does look like a V6 front splitter , mine wasnt like that

There are a few differences on this one, compared to the ra i recently purchased from you 4ndy..ie no side skirts/lips,on wrc 555 limited edition.
Mines deadly with 324bhp/300torque,so this one must be an animal...
Bttt for an awsome motor...

It'll most likely go into autotrader this week or next. Oh, and my work intranet
I'd much prefer it to goto an enthusiast rather then some chav who is just gonna rag the nuts of it.
I gave it some more Autoglym treatment this afternoon too
Its looking proper mint.
Currently sitting in my garage with blankets over it to stop the dust getting on

Yes, this thing is deadly.
When i first drove it, i kinda knew what to expect after owning a few 300BHP cars. DID I ****!!! This went through the gears like nothing i've ever driven. I simply couldn't keep up! The car was easily out driving me!
Unfortunately now, i simply just don't have the time to enjoy this car
I haven't had it long, but i will miss it. It kinda looks nice in my garage

Nice looking car.
That is a version 6 front splitter but I am sure that's a version 5 rear spoiler. I have a Version 5 with the 6's front splitter on and it finishes it off nicely. If you have a look at the white tag on the front seat belts it'll tell you the year of manufacture. Mine was manufactured 99 registered in the UK 2000.
Good luck with the sale.

Someone PM'd me about coming to a trackday at Brunters this weekend since they wanted to check the car over. Could that person give me a call...on 07799146674. I've cancelled the IBM conference so i *should* be able to come now!
