met cannon_fod_1 on a good couple of games tonight - he missed me getting my vet engineer badge, which i got by 'cheating' - did it in the air with 35 kills. but then I got 25 on the ground in the very next game so I guess i morally got the badge in that game I was only 1 kill off the veteran pistol badge as well - ran out of time before I could shoot one more person

Tue - BF2
Thur - Armored Fury & Euro Forces Xpaks
Sun - BF2

SF is now only played once in a blue moon on a Thursday.

I look forward to seeing you there Alex - one request: if we're on the same side, could you please keep picking up every ammo pack I throw around? I really really want to get my Expert Supply medal

If we're NOT on the same side: could you please fly as crap as you did last time? I got my Vet Spec Ops 'cos of that

I'll pick up a couple of bottles of wine on the way home - that should cover not being on the same side and flying badly!

Hmm.. I wish Teamspeak would come out with some other option for channel usage.

As commander it gets really hard to tell you guys what's happening while the other 8 ppl on the channel are yapping away. <not a dig at anyone, just a comment in general>

Shame that TS doesnt have some channel mngmt where a "leader/commander" could be on a channel where "he" doesnt have to hear the other channel banter but everything he says is heard by all the others.

I know it's built into BF2 but it's not as good as TS.

Anyhow - enjoyed the maps while it lasted.

DrEvil - you are very very naughty. Knowing where I was hiding as cmndr while you were on our side, then getting pushed to the otherside and subsequently taking a plane and *crashing* into me.. Low.. just.. low..

I'll take some of the responsibility for that - when I'm having a good time I do tend to be whooping for joy, and when it's going poorly; bitching like crazy.

I'm definitely going to be setting up TS to use 'press to talk' from now on

I wish it were that simple - but I just kept being lucky again last night... swung around to see a euro-fighter whizzing away from me - or passed over the Euro base looking for the one that got away and catch a chopper taking off (easy pickings!)

Mind you... those bombing runs... even I began to wonder I think I only missed on one.

Yeah, yeah - I reckon you've got your nephew playing on your behalf or something - no way someone of your age could react that quickly!!!

not got a nephew... got two nieces but they're aged 5 and 2, so they may be a bit young.

I think DOM was getting a bit narked off as well as I always seemed to be chasing him around the skies... I could've sworn I scraped the paint of his fighter I got so damn close on one dogfight!

Well, if you could see me ducking and diving around in my chair when playing you'd begin to wonder I was leaping out the seat when I almost crashed during one dogfight last night - then 'ducking' under one of the windfarm towers.

I really do get WAY too involved sometimes!

i'm hoping to get on tonight.. i'm now working on my last veteran kit badge-sniper. I managed 13 kills using the sniper riflle in the first round last night (but I've still got 5 hours of play before I can seriously start trying)

Default *** WARNING: Patch v1.4 due tonight ***

I can't check MPuk from work nor my private email - but apparently the new patch is due today.

I will check when I get home and post up links to download the patch.

It should be available via the EA downloader though.

Ahhhhh.... finally got my Command Ribbon (50 points before multiplier) last night. That's one that has been bugging me for ages - pity we lost the game but what the hey!

They were very good ones last night as well. I didn't complain once!

i only managed to get on at 11:00 last night, but most everyone had gone

All I managed to do was blow blundy out the sky and someone left causing the game to end (still I did get a Gold out of it as I was the only person to actually score a point!)
