• Through tolls and continue M25 to junction *1b* Princes Road Interchange.
• Leave via slip road, circumnavigate roundabout and re-join M25(A282) back towards crossing.
• Through tolls again and through Dartford tunnel. Spread out a bit at the toll booths so we all get through in a reasonable time.
• Exit M25(A282) at junction *30* (2nd exit after tunnel) and join A13 – London bound.
• Continue A13 – The leaders will need to keep the pace down a bit here to allow everyone to catch-up due to traffic lights at M25/A13 junction. We suggest the leaders do about 50 in the 70 zone just to let the stragglers at the tunnel catch up.

• Watch out for new speed cameras on A13 around Beckton/A406 junction. In particular, immediately you descend the Movers Lane flyover there is a 40mph speed camera.
(40mph on main stretch, 30mph)
• Stay in middle or right-hand lane on A13 approaching the Canning town flyover, once over the flyover continue STRAIGHT AHEAD towards “ISLE OF DOGS”
• Enter tunnel towards Isle-of-Dogs.[ASPEN WAY] No cameras AT PRESENT in this short tunnel.
• Continue along ASPEN WAY following signs for The City.
• Continue along Aspen Way, into Limehouse link (Watch out for 30mph cameras x 3 in tunnel, rumoured to be Specs type units too!!!!).
• Stay in left-hand or middle lane towards end of tunnel.
• Go straight on at traffic lights. Leaders slow down along “The Highway” (A1203)
• As you approach Tower Bridge Keep in the left hand or middle lane but DO NOT turn left onto the bridge!
• Keep the Tower of London to your left and follow the road.

• The first bridge we pass under is London Bridge, make some noise but watch out for the Cameras along this stretch.
• Continue along Upper Thames Street and through the Blackfriars underpass
• Continue along Embankment (with the river to your left) under Waterloo Bridge
• Keep going until you come to a “T” junction at Big Ben, turn right and then keep in the left hand lane and turn left, keeping Parliament to your left. Be good at this point and don’t draw attention to us, these police have guns!
• Keep going along Millbank, straight over the Roundabout at Lambeth Bridge and keep going again past Vauxhall Bridge.
• The leaders should at this point be able to pull up along the side of the road, this are is mainly residential/offices and should not be busy with parked cars, re group if we can.
• We then go UNDER Grosvenor Bridge and TURN LEFT onto CHELSEA BRIDGE
• Keep going straight on until you get to the roundabout and double back on yourself, then just before the Bridge is the entrance for Battersea Park, turn left into it (if it’s open)

• If the park is not open (or when we have finished) retrace your steps over the bridge and turn right. Follow your steps back along Millbank, into Parliament Square and back along the Embankment. Eventually you will find yourself back in Limehouse link. (Don’t forget the Cameras!)

• Continue back along Aspen Way (with Canary Wharf on the right) and exit to the left before the flyover. Turn right (4th exit) off the roundabout under the flyover and into McDonalds for a pit stop On exiting McDonalds, take the 3rd exit on main roundabout and stay in left hand lane to another roundabout with an Esso garage (NOT through tunnel!!!), take 2nd exit on roundabout towards A13.
• The Hardcore might want to go back to the Dartford Tunnels again for another couple of runs, if not then it’s the End of the Run

• Be careful, drive safely and within speed limits. No-one wants their evening ruined by getting 3 points. Flame the tourists……

Remember the toll charge is £1 each way so make sure you have some £1 coins to keep the flow fast through the Tunnels
Caution....There are loads Speed cameras on this route with limits including 20mph, 30mph, 40mph & 50mph! Keep your eyes peeled!!! (and the Origin/Road Angels updated ) You have been warned!

Met someone on Friday night at the Kent meet who said he works in an office along the Lower / Upper Thames Street stretch of the road near the roadworks and he confirms that the camera is going off continously - not sure what type of gear they're using but it seems it's fairly discreet and goes off as soon as you exceed the limits - no '10mph' leeway given!!! As Shaw Taylor used to say on that old crime programme "keep 'em peeled" - no one under 25 will understand that........

Don't forget, spread out at the Dartford toll booths. Last year we only used the 2 nearside booths but it took ages for us all to get through.

The leaders will hold us up on the slip road joining re-joining the M25 to allow the stragglers to catch up. At one point last year we could see across the road and see people still leaving the southbound carriage as we were re-joining the northbound.
The slip road re-joining the carriage is 2 lanes with a slip road, try and squeeze 2 cars into the left hand carriage so that normal cars don't get held up too much - let them by if you can.

The traffic lights at the A13/M25 will split us up, the leaders will drive at an appropriate speed to try and allow the others to catch up but be creative at the roundabout. Bear in mind that if there is a scooby on the outside of you that he/she will want to be joining the A13 too and let him/her in.

Try not to overtake the leaders, it will probably be Tiny and Spec 'c. Their cars stand out a mile. The A13 is a three lane carriageway so use the 2 inside lanes, let normal traffic use the outside lane so we don't cause too many queues, don't just all tuck into one lane if there are 3 available!

We are skipping the previously scheduled McDonalds regroup and just heading into the city, we can always go there on the way back.

IMPORTANT Don't play around in Parliamnet Square. Our MP's apparently work 24 hours a day on our behalf if a car is leaving the car park of parliament, do not get too close and give it a wide berth! Taking this into account it doesn't matter if we get broken up along Embankment, we can always re-group a bit along Millbank.

You can buy some cheap 2 way walkie talkies from argos that we all used last year to keep in touch. Didn't work brilliantly and you can probably do without out if you haven't got one already. Veterans will already have a set ready to dust off for another year! You have my mobile already Greg.
