Firstly Darren great reply matey your getting sharper

Cheers Jim I've seen you before some where today

Fingers crossed Cyprus for tomorrow

Sven.... Slammed

I'm well happy with them and it seems everyone else is to no adverse comments as yet unless they are being polite

I drove down the shop this afternoon and when I got back to the carpark found some guy around 60 kneeling on the floor with his glasses up on his forehead having a really close look at one of them he liked them as well
He could not get over the 35 wall on them.

Si, that looks sweeeeet mate...

Its absolutely what I would have done with a DBM Classic, its very simple mods which add up to make such a difference. Have you got anything else planned??

What cleaning products do you use??

Tints are very

Grant

Well Grant I'm just about spent out for a while here.... one thing I need to get are some splash guards fitted before I mark the sides of the car and I'm quite tempted to get a set of fog light covers other than that it's time for a rest and enjoy what I've got

I thought you would approve after seeing what you did with your wagon mine is on a similar line and I'll well pleased with the results.

As for cleaning products well..... it's Swissol all the way here, it may not be cheap but it's quality gear and I have found that it is so concentrated it lasts for ages.

This was the car in Jan this year when I picked it up

And now

It certainly wakes the paintwork up the only painting I have had is the skirts all around and the front bumper has been sprayed over because of some scrap marks.... the dent man made a big difference making the car much smoother other than that it's been elbow grease

That £95 on the door dent man was well worth it.

Blimey - looks like I'm going to have to invest in one of those myself!

simon

When I get the chance, I will be posting some pictures of the before and after shots from the bodyshop work. Lets just say she looks

Might have to take up the baton as you say.maybe if you keep getting involved with your mates projects you might forget your own ...as if

Been following that FMIC project with interest, but might have to put that on hold until other things are done.

Nice one Tony.... I'm looking forward to seeing your thread when you get organised there.

The only trouble fitting a FMIC to a standard engine is it's the package that is needed with it... induction, DV, TEK3 etc etc the bill would be very LARGE

Thanks for that Ollie it's mostly been a lot of cleaning as Si will tell you everytime he has seen it he has noticed a difference in the paintwork.
Having the dents removed really notched it up a few pegs to....

All credit goes to you Si, the car looks 10 times better than when you bought it.
You've choosen the correct bits and not over done it, it really does look "out of the factory" new!!

Wink

Go get yourself some dark blue smooth finish hammerite and paint inside the wheel arches... matches the car really well... just gives the car that overall clean look... plus in the winter when it gets shi**y it washes off nice and easy...
