I was looking for an Audi S3 and saw they had 2 for sale but having NEVER heard a good word about them decided not to bother.

Too many tales of bad service for my liking .
Never dealt with them but a bad reputatrion is a hard thing to get rid of.
Has anyone got any praise for them??? I would be interested to hear cos i still fancy an Audi.

Hmm I would beg to differ slightly.....

Before you read on I am not having a go at you before you jump down my through just posting my experience.

If you have a read of my thread here first http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...1&page=2&pp=20

I am pretty sure the white sti I am referring to is the one you bought. It was a while ago, but if I remember correctly did it have a mesh grille on it somewhere...I think perhaps the front bumper ?

Anyway I seen them tearing up the estate in this white sti obviously test driving it. From what I seen the car was not properly warmed up at all, certainly not 15 minutes or 10 miles worth. I can't speak for that particular car, but the one I looked at was sitting empty on petrol. I would put money on it, it wasn't optimax or super in there ? Even so, to let the car run on barely no fuel is not really good for it either is it ? All these add up to a blown engine.

They did have quite a few good cars inside to be fair but the ones outside were all a pile of crap. The Subaru I looked at is still up for sale with them. I was told, to use their words "the body work is in good condition for its age". This translated to, a big dent in the front wing and a back door which the colour didn't match on it. Not to mention the knocking from the engine, no petrol and a different key to open the car and another to start it. Did I mention the 188k miles on the car, which was suppose to have only been 144k or something !

A garage I would say to well avoid but that's just my opinion.

Cheers

It says unregistered which does make sense as there is no model report for the S202?

They didn't produce a japanese Yellow STI only S202?

when i went up the other weekend with our lass they seemed uninterested to talk to anyone even though i was seriously considering chopping in my scooby for something else however after talking to a lot of locals (my missus is from bingley) the amount of stories brought up is unbeleivable that said,

both pauls subaru and lee's (his sons) are very nice cars and i wouldnt of said either were overpriced and i can definately see pauls point the big end going is hardly the garages fault they cant guaruntee the life an import has had before it came to england admittedly some of the cars at keighley look rough but they do operate a very fast turn around (off ship sva out) so they never really get chance to do anything to them i thing the number of stories is proportionate to their size as i know of a lot worse importers..

I went there about a year ago and after a 2 min walk around there forcourt decided not too touch anything!!.

They had about 30 cars on ther forcourt and 4 inside a little show rooms these 4 were the only cars that were half decent, the others outside were all dinted and had rusted parts on nearly everyone of them and all looked to me like they hadnt been washed in about 3 years!!

To be honest it didnt bother me as it only took me 30 mins to get there and they helped me spot many common faults (because there cars appeared to me to have so many!!). But i would of definatly of been p1ssed if i'd done a 600 mile round trip.

I live about 15 mins away from this place. Its changed premises quite a few times and most of the cars are overpriced *r*p.

been for a look once and would never go back again.
TBH i think this company is as d**gy as they come, with alot of outside 'investment' if you catch my drift.

They have gone from selling cheap cars to selling 60k plus ferrari's in the space of a few years.....mmmmm i wonder how?
