Rumoured fuel blockades back on 12.00
Ok it was in good need the first time , and i admit these prices are wayyy too high. But doing this again just totally screws everything up! I was one of the ones who thought... leave it a week and the petrol will get back to normal and didn't bother filling up. I have just been to find a petrol station and already they are either empty or have queues which are just tooo long. I have to go make a 120 mile journey up to Birmingham tomorow night and back, and i have quarter of a tank left. cool!!! nice one fuel blockers. Excuse my attitude but i'm a little unhappy about it.
Err- it's all a rumour???? What's the true deal is it a rumour or not?

<not Tony before anyone starts>
Even if the blockade isn't back on its a stroke of tactical genius on the hauliers part.
Just as the supplies were getting back to normal cause a mad rush back to the pumps to knock the supplies back down to empty
Just had a call fom Newcastle - a colleague has had several meeting cancelled as everyone has dissappeared off to the petrol station.
Here we go again !
I now have new info bbbbeeee bebebb ebebebe meant to be news ticker sound!!
From what I understand the hauliers are sticking to the 60 days, however the tanker drivers are going on strike in reaction to the governments attitude towards them.
Sorry to back track but I'll keep you posted as I get news.

I can't beleive it, I just went out for my lunch time panic petrol buy (well I need petrol to get home in 3 hours time anyway) and the complete *!%£*!^% at the local petrol station just charged me 99.9p a litre for SUL. Why dont they just bend me over.....

Andy
P.S. Sorry for being rude, I'm slightly annoyed at the moment!

I have just been genuinely trying to get fuel in East London for the last 1.5 hours.
The garages are blocked by people panic buying. Some are even shut by the police.
A colluege with a P1 went to South Mimms on his way to Milton Keynes and is now stuck there because the police have shut the services.

Whooops
Noticed as soon as I uploaded it and spent a minute looking at my own hand, twisting it this way and that...
Photoshop is brilliant, but doesn't correct my stupidity. (Hit refresh - I've updated it)

I am getting confused (so whats new!) What's the 'Bobby Moore' - Tanker driver's strike or not, Farmers'/lorry driver blockade, Gordon Brown threating to shoot farmers/tanker drivers on site (just made that up but it makes a bloody good headline)
Please help - my head hurts

As fasr as the News is concerned it looks like there is no strike but that people are panic buying due to rumours so it might still lead to fuel shortages in the short term.
Hope this helps.
Ain't the internet a great rumour mill
