Thank you to everybody who has pm me or posted on here with support and constructive advice. After I made my post I switched off the pc and cried and cried not just for myself but also for my wife and the hurt I have caused her. The drinking numbs my pain for a shortwhile but I know it is no long term solution so I need to get my head straight. I didn't post on here for sympathy I was using it as my "samaritan" I couldn't face speaking to somebody about it so this seemed the ideal way for me to get it off my chest. I don't think suicide is an option but when the walls are closing in and the world feels such a lonely place it has it's appeal. I haven't had a drink yet today and am fighting the urge. I know I ****ed up and can't blame anybody else for my mistakes but I feel let down and angry at been taking for a **** by a heartless bitch.
I saw someone question my maturity for falling in love with a woman I was having an affair with well I was seeing her for nearly a year which I think is ample time to fall in love and make sure it is a stable relationship before making rash choices. Initially she did all the chasing and I did my best to keep her at bay. Maybe this is her revenge?
It hurts so much and I feel so weak for not being able to say no.

Don't tell me you have never thought about it at some point in your life when things have just got too much. I created a new id for obvious reasons as I want to be able to post again freely if/when I get my life turned around.

If I was in a similar position I'd not be posting about it on SN. It is, for the most part, a CAR RELATED BBS, and thus not really the place for this type of disscussion, there are other BBSes out there for this type of thing and it's not exactly hard to find one, no matter how much you're messed up. Better still, maybe talk to your friends about this, that's what I'd do! If no friends, call the samaritans, that is what they are there for.
Anyway, that's more than enough from me on this thread, as said, I think it's a wind up and is going the same way as the Tweaky thread which I also feel is a wind up. Some odd people around here!

I can see why people would doubt the authenticity of this thread and maybe I should have used my long established regular id but that seemed like a bad idea. Judging by some of the replies I made the right choice. For once.
It's a car BBS, so what? I didn't want to pour my heart out down the phone to the samaritans and as I use this board a lot it seemed the logical thing to do.
I kindly ask you to keep your hurtful comments to yourself. I am aware I will come in for some criticism regarding the situation but some of you seem to be enjoying having little snipes at me for no other reason than to cause aggravation.
