If it was on my car,she would have got her stinking Macdonalds milkshake poured all over her ignorant head...and young nipper would have had the colour of his snot changed

same people have no respect for anything or anyone these days!

Last week I found bare foot marks on the roof and bonnet of my workhorse (old Xantia). I know its old but its still a cheap means of transport for me which I have paid for.

If I catch the bested doing it again I'll break his legs. Don't care how old they are!
What the hell is up with these *******! You lot can say all you want. If the little ***** bring their Daddys around I'll sort them too. I've been arrested before for looking after my property and I'll damn site get arrested again if I have to.

I'm with you all the way mate.

I would have sat on her bonnet ensuring fat **** was well planted.

Problem in today’s society is retaliation. Seen it too many times as a teenager driving me astra, taking the girls to a roller disco (few years ago now ) only for a jealous boyfriend to scratch every panel of my car cost £600, few weeks later knocks mirrors off and so on.

It's how society is these days.

I mean what kind of example is that mother setting for her kid? its ok to just put your stuff on other peoples property and sit on it too.

Sorry but thats wrong. Any proper parent with half a brain cell would get the kid to hold the stuff or even put it on your OWN car whilst getting keys or whatever. Its not rocket science...just plain respect of other peoples property.

But its typical of how things are these days.

Thank god i won't be around in the next century to see how bad it will become.

The thought scares me quite frankly.

Who the f*ck is she to say "it's just a car" she has no idea what you may have gone through or sacrificed to get it, it may represent a serious achievement for you so i'd say apart from kicking the kid you were correct in your reaction

he didnt kick the ****ing kid

Shame but still... Some lad tried to touch my misses up as she walked pass them a few year ago, she came home and obviously I went out on the bounce! When I got there him and his three mates where sure they had done nothing, my misses followed me and I did all i could to hold her and them a part, sadly more youths joined and the situation got worse, I ended up throwing the main **** against a shop window in an attemp to get him out of my face, as I lent down to grab him I took a beating from the lads now completely around me, my only thought was to get them away from my g/f and I ran with them chasing me, being a tuff bitch she was grabbing them and trying to stop them getting at me, luckily I knew one of the extra lads and he got them all to leave me alone.
Had a word with him later and the main character stopped my g/f the next day, said he was drunk (at 13) and said he was sorry!

Lesson learn.. control yourself and get them alone

I park my car on my drive every night. Off road and away from any children playing in and around the road.

A few of the local cats like sitting underneath the Scoob waiting for my next door neighbour to chuck out some scraps (which I don't have too much of a problem with)

Last week I caught a kid crawling underneath the car to get to a cat, while another 2 were leaning on the side of the car and putting their grubby hands all over my shiny paint work.

I opened front door and said what are you doing? The reply back was "we're getting the cat out". You're on my drive and leaning against my car... now hop it I said. I also added the exhaust is still hot and you'll burn yourself.

The kids (all between 7 and 8 years old) looked at me, rolled there eyes, huffed, and walked off! Cheeky monkeys.

What makes the situation even more annoying is the fact the mother (of 2 of them) was walking her dog past the house as I was telling them to hop it. She just smiled and said hello. Not a mention of "get of that mans drive" or "come on kids that's not your car" or even "Sorry. I'll tell them to keep off in future".

I know kids are kids and will do this sort of thing, but it's the lack of respect they showed my property, and the fact the mother saw nothing wrong in what they were doing that winds me up.

Cant believe the mother thought it was OK to pile food on your car and let her son sit there in the first place ! Wasnt she bought up with any concept of manners ?

The country really is going to pot - when I was growing up, if I had cheeked an adult, I would have expected a slap off them ( or worse ), and known I had deserved it - if I had gone crying home to my parents, I would have got another slap off them for cheeking the adult in the first place.

Personally, after what she said, I would have pi55ed on her drivers door handle and said 'what the problem ? its only a car'

No, in my eyes I dont think you have done anything wrong at all, I probably would have done the same, but given the mother abuse about her lack of respect for other peoples property and lack of parenting skills with her unrulley and badly behaved child !

I couldn't believe that story.. it's outrageous! - I told my missus & her response was 'how old was the child'
She seemed to think that a harrased mother might quite acceptably put a small child on someone elses car! She doesn't know why we fuss about a few small scratches! Her reasoning was she is more upset that I 'totally immerse' wooden salad bowls that are now in her description 'ruined' - after 18 years or have allowed her grandfathers wooden desk to get some (more) scratches - needed refinishing anyway

So there you have it completely different viewpoint! (completely wrong in a scooby enthusiasts opinion )

Thing is, say the kid had jeans on, and the rivets put a few scratches in your bonnet - metallic paint, so you cant just touch it up - would the mother pay £500 to get your bonnet resprayed for you ?

Should've pointed out that, yes, it is only car, but probably cost the same as she earns in two years, so unless she fancies paying for the damage, get the f#ck off of it.

I would murder my kids if they did that. I wouldnt dream of letting my kids sit on other peoples cars and as for putting food on them, downright rude. I wouldnt have been calm, at all, bloody furious infact! You did the right thing.
