Cheers for the warning PUMPERS about the
HKS as I'll bring my ear protection.
Anyway I'll get in touch with Well Lane with the numbers and get back to you all.

Hi Craft,

I'm definately interested. My MY96 only has a K&N and a Magnex backbox,(as far as I know) but I'd be interested to see what power there is there.
My last car was a 250 bhp 944 Turbo that a Porsche specialist said felt unusually quick, and the Scoob feels even quicker than that did. I only live about 20 mins away.

C u there

Rich

Darren, I don't see why not, as long as it's not too many, obviously with muddy not coming
there is a space available.
Cheers, C

Here's just a few extra directions:
M62 J28.
A653 follow signs for Dewsbury/Batley, you'll be on a duel carriage in built up area 40mph (stay in right lane)
Go past welcome to Batley sign and past welcome to Dewsbury sign also. Stay on this road until you come to a Texaco garage on the right at traffic lights. Turn right onto this road and you'll come to a viaduct and roundabout look for Batley town centre, come to traffic lights/t-junction, turn right, straight through Batley centre at lights around 500 yards on the left Talbot pub is on the corner.
From Bradford side, A652 to Batley, as you get to the centre you'll pass tesco/Aldi on the right, look for Talbot pub on right and thats well lane.
Coming from Dewsbury side again A652 to Batley coming into centre 500 yards after lights in centre well lane is on the left.

Hope you can follow.....

Cheers' see you sunday!! CRAFT

JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW..........

If you are coming from the M62 down the A653

BEWARE......From the Second set of lights (bulls Head Pub on RIGHT hand side!) FOR ABOUT 1.8 MILES to fourth set of lights(texaco garage)

follow the speed limits to the letter 40 mph.
(Not even a few mph over!!)
DO NOT DEVIATE OR THE LOCAL PLOD IS LIKELY TO
HAVE UR NUTS 4 BREAKY.

They use everything laser, hand held radar unmarked cars/bikes the works.....

you've been warned.IT IS VERY HIGHLY POLICED TO SAY THE LEAST.......PLUS THERE ARE PLENTY OF HIDDEN AREAS THAT YOU CAN BE TARGETED FROM.

m.

Due to now Scooby-less status, I won't be there. Wouldn't want my new 330d to put you to shame

Thats kind of what I meant by the 'scooby-less status' comment

By tomorrow I will be the 'dreaded BMW driver' - Paul Frank had better watch out

Did you manage to get home then steve .....

i'd have thought your car would have gone pop before now.......

Power isn't everything anyway ......i think it should be on both power and torque figures.

You had the most power BUT Darren in his 22b had more torque.....

so total points (No they don't make prizes!!)
(based on both figures)
Darren cooper 607
Steve McCulloch 604
Paul Webber 596

Just to let you all know i'll e-mail the results tommorrow......
and i've just about finished combining the graphs so they will be sent on to paul strong in a couple of days(i want to make sure everything is as good as it can be)

Why would my car go pop?

The boost is fairly conservative - and has no debt whatsoever

the lbs ft was down on a run I did at Well Lane when the car was standard - somewhat of an anomoly me thinks

Had a great day out at well lane, very well organised.

Cheers for sticking up for me bladernnr on the power but please dont forget they couldnt stop the 22B from spinning on the rollers so probably would have made more power and torque !!!

Or so the bloke who was running it said.

Any way thanks for the day out and hope to see you all soon.

Darren
