Yeah' Sorry, I've also just been told the
car park is a bit on the small side, but as
JH mentioned above there's a hotel car park
next to LC so if there's no room at the inn
we'll park there. I'll check it out on friday
anyway and see whats what.
Cheers for all your help and advice

There is always the Thatch & Thistle pub in Barrowford, or Nelson & Colne College accross the road. This idea was posted elsewhere, but I can confirm that there is adequate parking at each venue.

Also a nice run up towards Skipton, over the hills through Barnoldswick.

Right then, Little Chef it is. I've checked it out and although it's small I think it's big enough to cater for our needs, there is also a Travelodge car park joining up.
From Leeds side of Skippy go along the A59
and follow signs for Clitheroe/Kendal, keeping on A59 when you get to signs saying
Bradford/Keighley at a roundabout, turn 1st
left and you'll see Little Chef etc...
Burnley/Preston side head up and stay on A59,
you'll also come to a roundabout with signs for Bradford/Keighley and you'll see Little Chef just off to the right...
Hope everyone is OK with the above, it's dead
easy to find, so see you all there 1030
Cheers CRAFT.

BIG THANKS to all who came and made it a
good day. At least we didn't lose any
cars even though an alternative route was
taken which added to the fun of the run
Look foward to seeing you soon....
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Craft and Jason

Cheers for organising the run.

The detour down several miles of muddy single lane track with regular gates led by Barry K was "interesting" - almost thought we'd got onto a genuine rally stage.

Buddy - cheers for the run in your STI5 - awesome car.

Merry Xmas to all

Craft and Jason,

Cheers for organising the run. A top route - and at least we didn't see any nasty Police Scoobys!

Steve,

Thanks again for the Blue Peter style MTR design mudflaps - who needs Prodrive?!

Merry Xmas, hope Santa brings you all lots of Scooby goodies!

Cheers,

Ian E.

On the way home we were followed by a white unmarked scooby.
Kept to the limit as always
The scooby then turned off at the Little Chef but I think he was a bit late for the meet

You must have been the unlucky one that found him. Having Scoobys all over his area would have maybe confused him - an advantage of 'having 2 routes'

An enjoyable crisp morning in the Dales. The shortbread at Stump Cross Caverns was tasty, and surprisingly light. Mike's (Bladerunner) other half looked like she was enjoying the home made gateau too! Hope your shopping trip was a success Mike.

Otis, you knew following me would end in fiasco didn't you? We nearly got away with not having to open any of the gates ourselves on our "secret route".

Dales, as we left, I noticed your car was filthy. Where had you been?

Thanks to Craft and Jason for marshalling us all, have a Merry Xmas and see you all next year.

Great meet guys...sorry I couldn't come and play...had my duties...and had to get to Manchester to pick up a friend from the airport.

Saw John Felstead on the way back from the airport...had a little play on the M60 with him...but due to not knowing where plod sit down their, decided to chat to the passenger instead.

I hope you all enjoyed it...glad no-one had any problems...the cars all looked awesome..

Cheers again..

Rum

P.S. Anyone going to Donno on the 30th...if you fancy meeting up at the services just south of the M62 junction on the M1...we could go down from their to the Donnington services for a bacon buttie...

If you fancy it mail me...

Cheers

To All

Thanks for making my first Scooby day a good one. Good day out was had by all, and superb to see our Scooby convoy giving the ramblers and cyclists neck-ache from all the double-takes.

Hopefully I will have my own by the next one.

Barry K - cheers for leading us over the forest stage towards Lindley Start out first, get to the first pub last.

Craft/Jason - Cheers for organising it

Merry Xmas to all, see you around.

Simon

PS when are the piccies going up?
