"GaryC get your priorities (spelling??) right, football or scoobing (is that a word?). No contest."
...after all it is only Leeds
Now if it were Bradford it would be a different story I thought You were playing Man U on the 21st, not the 22nd?
I had a reccy at Dick Hudsons on Friday. Ample parking and good food - looking forward to it!

Sorry, been away.
I expect to be able to make 22nd October.
I don't know where Ray Hudson's is. I am happy to meet there but think we should finish someplace else that we don't advertise on here.
I will group e-mail you all and advise the method GaryC will already know about for group contacts such as this.
Sorry to be spooky, but it pays to be paranoid!

I think it will be the Diahatsu, if i get it back with it's new gearbox. I thought seeing all the scoobs in the north would be there i would take something a little different. i won't be able to keep up but it will be fun trying.

Alec,
Just seen this post - can't believe I've missed it up til now
22nd Oct sounds good for me also - Dick Hudsons is a good choice - 10 min drive for you over the moor!!!
By the way - did you ever fit that exhaust you bought from the P1??? Last time I saw you in Ilkley it still had the old one on????
Bal,
Saw you the other day - glad you waved back
Dick Hudsons is only 15 mins from us in Adel/Horsforth - with a little proper driving!!!
Basically, from Harry's - towards Shipley/Bfd -rgt to Hawksworth - straight on for a couple - lft @ T - 2 miles - D Huds on left.... ...easy as that really !!! *LOL*
If it all goes ahead we'll meet in Adel and run from their.
Speak soon
Tom

Rum*,
I have invited you on to the WYorks e-group using your profile e-maill address. It saves us having to trawl Scoobynet for local info we can share.
Bal,
I have used the address you sent me.
Look forward to you both signing up. Check the options if you don't want to get each individual e-mail. You can set it to daily digest, or view via web only, so you don't get a dozen e-mails all at pnce if it bothers you (or your employer).

Hello all,
Just like to say thanks to BarryK, son Alex and everyone else involved in preparing the run, for putting together another Northern Meet, this time with ducks, peacocks and the odd squidgy red thing in the road.
I'm just glad I didn't break down along the route as I hadn't got a clue as to my whereabouts during the run.
Ian, good luck with impending court case, and by the way, I got my windscreen fixed for £20 as a favour at a windscreen centre, in lieu of the normal £58.75.
For those of you that took details of the special MTR Enterprises, aerodynamic and cheap, muck deflectors/paint protectors, I hope you will be as pleased as I was with them. They really do save the paint at the bottom of the doors. Black UPVC sheet at 1.5mm thick or similar will suffice, and they won't cost £17 + VAT.
BarryK's were SUPPLIED AND FITTED free of charge. Aint he lucky.
Cheers MTR

Seconded on the thanks front: great route, interesting wildlife (stray sheep and ducks), good entertainment (can I say "Scenic" - glad that all turned out fine!) and a decent nosh house at the end...

Good to meet everybody today.
Thanks to BarryK and son Alex for a top route. Even though I'm a local there were a lot of good roads I'd never been on. Glad we stayed away from the 'A' roads with the dreaded laser guns.
MTR - thanks for the mudflap design. I'm pleased you got your windscreen sorted at a reasonable price - I've given my rear tyres a good kicking and told them not to throw stones again!
Cheers,
Ian.

Hi Guys, just like to say thanks for the warm welcome I received on Sunday. This was my first outing and I enjoyed it very much (even when I turned right instead of left and lost everyone!)By the way for those who I didn't get to speak to, mine was the Black WRX, only had it 4 weeks so took it easy for the first few miles but then had fun trying to keep up with Alec.
See you all at the next one I hope

Another thanks for the get together on Sunday.
This was my first time out with members of the Scooby gang, and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it was a bit heavy going sometimes, trying to keep up with you Turbo boys (mine MY98 Sport).
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to speak to a few people.Just for my reference, let me know who was who.Which were your cars?
I got the names of Bal and Alec, (and you of course, Barry and Alex).
My 3 week old nipper slept all the way round!Must have been due to the perfect combination of slick driving and fabulous Impreza road holding!!
Can't wait for the next one.
Cheers for now
Steve
