Northern Meet 4

I could be persuided to drive the 355 Ferrari if the chap wants to bring the 360 along.
My westie is a bit low these days for fast B road action, tends to take off on its rather stiff track suspension.
If he wants to show off more than one of his pride and joy collection, i will gladly drive one of the ferrari's for free.
Well, if u don't ask you don't get. LOL

Not wanting to rock the boat or anything... maybe just playing at devils advocate here , but are we beginning to lose track of the reason for these meets maybe, also the numbers that are now becoming involved we risk the long arm of the law interveening maybe? The few evo's that used to tag along were fine but isn't this getting a little out of hand?

Thanks for the reply , you have put my mind at ease regarding the Police which is I guess most peoples greatest worry. Personally I'd rather not be branded as some elite Max Power type. I was mearly pointing out that large numbers will inevitably attract attention and sooner or later if these numbers increase the max power fraternity will start turning up and then where will it all end, granted your average Ferrari owner isn't going to behave like these ****holes. Just being the profit of doom I guess how much longer can we continue increasing the numbers at each meeting at the current growth rate, before the above happens?
How ever all that aside keep up the work organising the things! And good look for the meet unfortunately I'm working (as per usual!!) so won't be able to attend. No doubt I'll be one of the 1000's at Nortehrn meet 5!!!

MTR I'm going to be a boring git here but if you have a big crowd turn up (it's looking good ) and we all set off down the motorway at the speeds we did on the last meet if there are any camera/radar cars they are going to make alot of money in a very short amount of time. I know that the police didn't bat a eyelid at us last time but with so many turning up this time do you think it would be a good idea to keep to a more sensible speed until we get to the A/B roads?
I'll take me cap and slippers off now

I reckon people are worrying without need - The police will only get involved if people start acting like Nova owners - the cars mentioned are a differnet league and at the end of the day....if you break the law....your on your own!
I am looking forward to this meet - I have got a few mates with some nice cars - 911, 550, boxster, et al - but I'll be honest - I don't reckon they will come!
MTR...
My WRX Sti is a 94 doesn't that make it an STI 1??? (or am I being a bit stupid)

Sounds like a plan forming!
As it is my first meet, I'd very much like to meet up and travel up in a convoy
How about meeting up at the Pub near the Knutsford M6 Junction (jct19) - I think it's called the windmill? and should be easy enough for you from Pickmere?
H
Oh, what are you driving?
Mines a 94 WRX Sti - red (a few stickers down the door), HKS Induction, HKS exhaust, Tein S-Tech Suspension, 17" Monza's and a few other bits and pices

MTR,
Just a thought, but with so many of our "Tin
foil" Scooby's in one place, might it be an
idea to invite the local dent removal
specialist to either start or finish point
to do a whole bunch at once at a discounted
rate?? (not just because I have one to do!!!!)

I wave in Bradford, when I am up there that is. Tend to be around at weekends for the footy.
Agree that not enough Bradfordians wave, although if you go a bit further out the reception is friendlier - especially Ilkley, it must be the Scooby capital of the world!
Cheers

Ok then
Must remember to bring the radar detector officer - at least the gatso's are no longer legally enforcable - but I'm not condoneing going over the speed limit - better to be safe than sorry
See if some of you UK boys can keep up with a slightly modded import (up to the speed limit of course officer)
