I was on the same bit of road about 2 months ago and a evo was sitting in the outside lane doing about 60mph, so i sat behind him for a minute and was just about to flash him , when some one behind me undertock both of us.

This Diesel guy is typical of the mentality of BMW company car drivers. They act like the road is there just for them and **** anybody else who might want to get past. I ain't condoning road rage but I have been in the same situation many times in various cars, most of which have been sporty, and beemer drivers attitudes always seem to be the same. This may be generalising somewhat but really, what is this guys problem? The fact that he registers on a site called Scoobykillers to gloat about what he did surely shows that he was trying to goad somebody in to racing. Diesel you are a ****ing **** and no mistake. ****, I hope JDM does follow and torches your car you sad mother****er! Now everydody else, lets just chill and satisfy ourselves in the knowledge that we don't have to act like a child to get fun out of driving our Scoobies. Peace.

In all honesty it sounds like 2 people who should really go and get some driving lessons!You both drive like tossers and you obviously dont know your cars very well,whence why you managed to embarrass yourself.

I would probably have done the same thing as JDM in the same circumstances, except I would have waited until I was past the BMW before any appropriate hand signals.
As for those advocating a freeway style in the UK - forget it. Unless everyone wants to poodle along at 55/65mph.
Also, the highways in Ontario are a nightmare for fast lane hoggers. I frequently come across people in the fast lane (which could be lane 2,3,4,5 or even 6!) with nothing on their inside. After a dozen or so other drivers undertake this prune, I often join the herd and undertake someone who often turns out to be a teenager on their mobile oblivious to their surroundings. Not condoning it, but I bet many on here would do the same (especially when you can have one or more lanes as a cushion).

I don’t think JDM did anything wrong to be honest. Got some idiot on the fast side crawling along. Would certainly of flashed him and probably would have resorted to hand gestures if the flashing had been ignored. Don't really understand all the negativity he has been getting. Ignore all the over the top do-gooders on this site mate. They will try to convince you that speed cameras are the best thing since sliced bread next.
Regarding the diesel versus petrol debate. Those new BMW diesels are fast but rather one trick ponies in my opinion. The Scooby is going to be more fun to drive and costs a fraction. I have absolutely no interest in diesels whatsoever. Equivalent petrols win hands down. Now I would love to see BMW do a big petrol turbo.

The reality is you were spanked good and proper by a significantly faster/better/more expensive/more classy/ more just about anything car.
It happens all the time, and i am sure 99% of scooby ownere have done a similar thing to other drivers.
