The National Grid, which supplies power to the Underground, said there had been no problems with its system which could have contributed to the incidents.

Edgeware Road, Marylebone and top of a bus in Tavistock Square. Some deaths reported.
Its a bit frightening to consider who could be responsible, Muslim fundamentalists? The French ? or even the IRA ? Lets face it, they are all in the frame.
Some idiot on TV has just had the gall to claim they (the bombers) only meant to cause disruption..........tell that to the relatives of the dead.

Just had an email from girlfriend to say she was walking out of Liverpool St. when it all kicked off - VERY relieved she's OK.
Her office have been instructed to stay inside - at the moment they're trying to locate staff who haven't turned up..............

IMO the 'power surge' story isn't a cover per-se. It's an explanation designed to move people out of the affected areas (tube stations) without mass panic. A bit of panic kicking off would almost certainly increase any fatalities immensely. Whereas people wandering off cursing London Transport is almost a day-to-day event....

The problem we have is that the police forces & goverment have concentrated on this G8 pish !!!
Scotland is swarming with police, i have counted numerous vans filled with police pass my office window on the way to Perth !!
Any terrorist group would see this as an ideal situation !!
