Great photos Ed.

Interesting to see the place during the summer months. I was out there skiing a couple of years ago.

Did you have a go on the 'summer luge'?

Hub is c.£600, and you can get either V-brake or disc versions. They'll fit a standard frame, but are better suited to a singlespeed frame with either horizontal dropouts or an eccentric bottom bracket. Having said that, you can run it in a normal frame, but with a small chain tensioner (that's how I run my singlespeed).

As for reliability, they claim that they've never had a breakage through normal use, and certainly I've never heard of a problem.

Incidentally, I'll be in Morzine next week, though mainly walking rather than riding, annoyingly enough.
I went with a group of mates and the chalet we stayed at organised the transfer from geneva. I can't reccommend http://www.justmountainholidays.com/summer/ highly enough. Friendly owners, incredible food - the sort of stuff you need after a day on the bike and a stunning view of the valley below.

If you miss the last super morzine bubble and you are on a DH bike it is a bit of a push to get up to the chalet (about 15 - 20 mins uphill) but it is worth it.
