wagons.......
I have a 96 Wagon with just prodrive ECU and Full de-cat
and I love it to bits !!!!
To me I prefer the look of the Wagon compared to the saloon.
Under stated and stealthy
Wagons definitely rule !!!!!

My 2p - I have one and love it to bits. Its completely standard(apart from cosmetic stuff and scoobysport backbox). It kept up with a new age saloon(complete with gadgets) last week over the moors, with me driving too
. My OH has an import WRX and its definately not as nice to drive as mine. I can get the dogs in mine too, without blathering my seats in mud(which is a bonus). Oh and guess who wants to borrow my car when he's off fishing?????
Go on, get one, you wont regret it

Thats the first rally 'wagon' i've ever seen! I dont actually mind them, flat erics wagon looks great!, real stealth look...but to me there just not quite right! Imo of course!
I do like the wagon too, and if they had made it with the flared arches of the saloon I'd maybe have gone for one. But my favourite part of the cars looks is the flared arches, and I'd hate to lose that, so I went saloon.
Thats a nice wagon, the lowered one with the STi fog covers. I did that to my saloon too. Except that I took the STi logo off the covers (but kept the subaru technica international writing). If its not an STi, it shouldn't be badged as such. Just me though.

You're absolutely right.... just not had time to get the hair dryer out yet! I'm on the lookout for some of those Subaru WRC 'Pig' graphics in a light silver colour to go on the covers.

If you really need the big spoiler to show the world what you drive then opt for the saloon,if you just want the more understated look, but just the same performance the wagon rules, either type are top cars but its down to your own preferance,me i think the wagon looks classier without the big dinner tray on the back, plus with a small family its a lot better when things need to be ferried about, orignally when i thought about an impreza the saloon did cross my mind, but after getting the wagon im deff glad i did

I've had a classic saloon and now a blobeye wagon , obviously the blobeye is more refined and I can get the dog in it ,but it's not the biggest estate in the world, more of a big hatchback really, and not the best looking from the rear, I guess if I need more room I can stick one of those silly roof boxes on the top once a year . The only niggle of the wagon I find is I get quite a bit more road noise than I had on the saloon is this the norm ?
Bought mine last november did'nt even consider the saloon.
Show me another car for the money that you can track and then on the way home pick up a washing machine.
Go for it you'll never look back.

Got a Classic WRX Wagon.
Use it for everything and I'm not afraid to get it dirty :-

Trip to Scotland, 900 miles in 3 days in Feb. All weather conditions in one weekend!

Back to normal

Tremendous stealth machine, great all-rounder.
Get one, you know you want to.
want know what we think of Wagons?
