Like the music or hate it ,that comment is out of order.

Like others on here, I have listend to Hip Hop for 20 years. NWA, Onyx, etc were much worse than some of 50 cent's lyrics, and for every negative rap message, there is a positive ones.

For reference, have a listen to

White Lines (Flash) , Fight the Power (Public Enemy), My Philosophy (KRS One) and many many others which I wont bore you with.

Yes, glamour associations with the genre do not help the modern youth when trying to formulate opinions on what is right and what is wrong, but dont dismiss all of it as violent, irresponsible drivel which has no positive part to play in the world. Hip Hop is the defining music of the last 10 years worldwide, and just because you dress like one of your favourite artists, does not make you want to behave in a violent way.

If the wannabe gangsta morons want to shoot each other, and boast about being shot several times, then good luck to them. How many times does 50cent claim to have been shot??

Hopefully the next bullet he gets is in the head!
