Don't take this as a self centred "mines bigger than yours" but a truly honest question
So to throw the question to the masses.
what could be better in terms of luxury, driveability, speed, poise, grip than my ruf powered 550hp 911?
edited to add (main reason for this was I well and truly spanked a 360 modena on some very nice back roads at very nice speeds)

PMSL .......its always amusing when a regular takes out a new user name just so that he can make this kind of comment ... I like to think If I have something to say I say it direct, not via an assumed name.

Or crash at very high speed.
I do remember reading somewhere about the 2.3 version he had, something along the lines of.
4500rpm 300bhp
4700rpm 590bhp
Or something equally mad, basically if it wasnt pointing in a straight line at the time full boost arrived it shot off the road pretty quickly !

I know the maximum power was circa 750bhp + What I dont know is the torque figure, but, it must have been pretty huge.
I know back in the late 80's rallycross cars had huge problems with pulling the tyres off the rims under full power through the corners!

FYI the latest Ruf R Turbo with 550BHP & 545lb ft does 0-100 in 8.56 seconds pretty quick but a CL65Amg auto barge does 100 in 9.01 seconds, and would once rolling be quicker than the Ruf over the ton or with a rolling start...... they are hugley fast once rolling, possibly the fastest car on sale over the ton... not a big fan but i'd have one...

Almost, things like work and holidays keep getting in the way.
Just the induction to do now, but made an **** of the inlet manifold by chopping it too short so need to source another one now or just buy some Jenveys I just dont want it to stand me at £7k if I go that route though

Probably would have been cheaper to have rung Peugeot and got them to deliver you a 206 GTi 180 engine in a box
My old girl will be having an engine rebuild over the winter me thinks. Wont take a a year though

I didnt even rebuild the engine, splashed the cash on a ready rebuilt one
I have done the entire car and moved house in the last year though, interior, suspension, engine, induction, wiring etc, just hope its all worth it in the end.
