Audi S4 Avant. They are gatting about that price, might need to increase the budget for a mint one though

It was cheap coz he got it off his next door neighbour, who buys cars at auctions, tools around in them for a while, then practically gives them away when he's bored

Have you thought about VOLKSWAGEN Passat 2.8 V6 Syncro?
I was behind one yesterday.
193bhp i believe and you can get them for around 7k according to autotrader :-)

Bad influence?? I didn't make him buy it!

An auto Forester is not all bad if you can live with 17mpg around town and 25mpg on the motorway!!
