mornin all,leedt just say you got this poxy man-flu,loads goin about!!!im not sure if my mates was done on standard internals,i know the list was really long of the mods it had,its runnin 300bhp for everyday use and then its got a boost controller and some other gadgets that take it above and beyond 400bhp.this is word of mouth tho,it might not be!have to give it a go and see how fast it is!have a good one all

 

Evening ladies,just had new rubber mount attached to exhaust and 2 new front tyres to the clio just purchased front springs £48 (old ones snapped) getting fitted on sat just need new screen then ready for mot .

hope you have a safe but speedy trip to kent dt and paul ring me when you get back i'l pop over to see the beast!

stu i know the lads that work in mr tyre said he would only charge me £15 a corner to fit new springs and will only take him an hour or so but thanks anyway.

chaps did the rocker cover last night Woot !!

ok found me leak on me zorst had all me car In loads of peices lol
it s not my down pipe
its me Up pipe had to take all me header pipes off [ all me zorst ] just to get the basterd Out
then had to grind me shields off to get to the pipe and wield it up nice crack on it nearly all the way round .. Sweet lol
Oh and snapped 1 bolt off me turbo Not bad really got some new bolts for em now just need to get the old one out ..
Me turbos s in peices at the mo wow them blades are very sharp and im waiting on Gaskets for all me zorst s Now lol crazy . crazy ...

Err so if i dont get me bits before then Wont be down thursday ...

Now then ladies,

It took me 2 n a half hours to do my gaskets, as I thought it was a ball ache, you would'nt believe the design gaff on the part of the engine head where it leaks.
There is a "half moon" plastic insert that blanks off a cut out in the head, presumebly because the heads are cast as a mirror copy of each other side by side.
This insert just happens to be located on the botton rear corner and is about an inch off the manifold, hence the smell of burning oil in the car.

Anyway, done it now and al set for tomorow.

 

so yeh half moon had gone dt there is 2 yeh ...
mine was ok my leak was from the big gasket bud when i took it off see it right away ..

the cams are small dont you think lee .. looked well small to me .

had nothing but Dead tight bolts to get off had to use burning gear on it all witch is a ball ache all i can say is that turbo must get wicked hot for them bolts to be that tight ..
oh and Subaru dealer just dont help ether wot a **** about ..

went to work this morn no power the whole factory is down ,had a site meeting with scaffs and mechanical lads (300 or so on site)we all walked off till they get it back on and running properly,no hot water or heating in the cabins so of for a pint now...

 

youre not kidding mate,i hate it,got me antibiotics now so hoping they kick in soon!sounds like ure day was a bit mad then calcars!

 

dt's got the evo 4 and what a cracking motor it is. Very quiet though, to quiet for dt i think.
runs very smoothly, better on the juice than the scoob, but i will let DT tell you all about it.
