got my van done yesterday, another £301.00 gone.
im going to college again i think to learn all about motors and save myself a packet.

MY SILVER TYPE R GOES THAT QUICK THE 'Q' CAN'T KEEP UP..............

 

Got the new rear pads in today you should have seen the old one's **** me no wonder i could'nt stop before should be ble to go a little faster into corners now knowing i will stop ok,
the pads went in a piece of **** never fitted any so simple before very straight forward what i found was the outside pad had worn right down yet the inner pad had quite a bit of meat left on it do you know the reason why.

 

Have the calipers got pistons on each side or are they a sliding two pot arrangment like the ones on mine.

Could be a siezed piston or the sliding caliper needs cleaning up a bit.

nah i think its cos only one moves and the other sits in place and is pressed on from the other side. ive noticed that myself.
