the new reflectors i won off e-bay are wrong.
there the right shape and size but they have a hole in the middle of them for a bulb and as the name states " reflectors " not fooking indicators. if i wanted indicators i would have bought some.

Evening all
Now then fella's,
Changed my brake fluid today, its made a big difference, did'nt put the braided lines on due to the risk of snapping a brake line so they are up for sale if anyone wants them.
I could'nt mount my air filter on Stu, the metal adapter plate is the wrong size so I'm gonna have to make one.I'm gonna get some stainless plate and partition off the filter from the rest of the bay.
I've already got a decat centre pipe, its a Magnex straight through not for road use one.

JIM,
I'm not taking the **** bud but its not a metalic tinny sound by any chance?
If it is then it could well be the heat shield vibrating due to it beingsplit at the mounting.
Has your check engine light lit up due to detecting a fault, your ECU should have detected the knocking if it is the bottom end.

its some sort of knocking its deffo fcuked.
my mates 2.5L is in an running nice, no problems with the conversion it turned over once and then fired up and was tickingover no problems. It was a bit hard getting the inlet manifold on as the new head gaskets are thinner and it made the inlet manifold bolts a tight fit.
I dont know if getting a block off ebay is worth it as you dont know what your buying or just bite the bullet and buy a new block.
when it comes to stripping the engine im going to take photos i might post them on here if anyones intrested..

got loads of updates to do been making tracks getting thro them

just whiped my intercooler off to see what its like fitting wise. its tight but can be done. however after being at york today ive decided on a few things for the car. im going straight to a front mount/reverse the inlet manifold at the same time.
