Hi All,
Sadly can't make 28th
Was at Donny on friday, bit of a mare tho, was running with BP ultimate so some knock (****e fuel!) and coolant was pissing out, knacked cap securing on header tank, got that fixed, suspect thermostat so changed that saturday, 5 min job took me about 2 hours! intersooler pipe in the way.
Got it rolling roaded at Motorworx 319.9bhp and 281lb/ft tq.
Still got a few bits to do and 3 weeks til round one on Sunday 6th April
Time Attack UK - Round 1
Cheers
Dill

Ref the website, speak to john, and get his permission etc, but that would be great, if you need any pics I have some and there are loads on th TA site from last year.
Possibly a fecked head gasket, will be getting it checked at RASP week before donny (round 1) hope its not serious.
Also don't wanna thread hijack but got some stuff for sale, and you guys have 1st dibs, plus no carriageas you're in the area
Got some Kuhmo track tyres 205/40/R17 hard compound, grip similar to R888's but last longer, but take a bit longer to get up to temp, one has flat spot, only done one track day, hence 150 quid the lot, these cost 127 per tyre new.
Also getting rid of my interior, so STI 555 seats, and rears offers.
cheers

Aye front seats are standard fitment.
Rears have 3 bolt loops on upright, and 2 on the horizontal cushion (think thats normal fitment)
All very good condition, some slight sun fading on red shoulder bits on outside should of front seats
Someone mentioned that the stitching is worn on the seats, but looks more like an effect to me, and with less than 60K miles wouldn't expect that much wear, only seems to be the yelloe thread.

Subaru Impreza 2.5 WRX
A mate at work is selling his 2.5 WRX. World rally blue. March 2007 '07' plate. Only 2,800 miles. One owner from new. FSSH. Side air bags, electric sunroof. Mint condition. Two year warranty remaining. Always garaged. 4 door saloon. Offers around £12,500. Anyone interested ?
Got some photos if required, but it's the standard 2.5 WRX.

Save on fuel for a start going all the way to the clinic.
AX - good to see your caning it at Cadwell, If I get a chance to go this year I'll have to get a passenger ride with you for some tips. BTW what tyre size do you use 15's?
Head gasket has gone on mine so got one week to try and get it sorted before TA round 1 at Donny next Sunday, I'll keep you all posted.

Unfortunately can't help you with tyres, thought i may be able to offer you some cheap 17's.
Car in garage today, engine out, rocker covers off, manifold off, cambelt (was a bit loose too!) off.Should get heads off tomoorow and sent away.
Never taken an engine out before so was pleased overall, couldn't believe the amount of work involved.
more updates tomorrow!
