Ive been registerd on here for a while but i have not posted on here before because i only recently found out of a lad with a black scooby that there is a place on here for people from Grimsby and Cleethorpes lol.

I have seen a few of you meet up near the leisure center in Clee and was going to pull up and say hi but dint want to seem a div just rolling up.
But next time ill come have a look at your motors if thats ok as i just bought my 1st Scooby (Although by what i have read not everyone likes the bug eyed ones, witch is what i bought lol)

just been checking my coil packs........ one of them fell to bits when i removed the rubber insulating cap good job i bought some for spares cant believe how knackerd it was tho. i hope the car will drive better now. might even perform better. by the looks of that pack it should. ive never had any complaints before (apart from the odd "CHECK ENGINE" when its been stood for a while).

ive just enquired about a set of these in red for when (& if i ever get round to it ) my wheels black.

Acko just out of interest how much do them head lights cost?? just that i have never seen a scooby in the flesh with them fitted :-)

 

the morettes cost me £250 second hand but you can get them for about £400 from a place in sheffield i think, then you have to spray them aswell, so dear really but well worth it because they totally change the look of the front end

 

me cars going better now. thats a bonus

as for acko's lights. theres 2 bugeyes in town with them (in silver). i allways end up flashing wrong one and its not our very own fat ****** acko

Hi Tony,

I'm the black sheep of the crew, I've recently gone over to the dark side and changed to an Evo.

Put new disks and ceramic race pads on today, also changed clutch and brake fluids, I've got braided lines on all round and Powerflex bushes on all suspension parts - bonus.

Unfortunatly I found a small oil leak from the bottom of the turbo oil drain pipe to the bottom of the block, its been bodged with sealant, and I think my rad is leaking slightly. Its all very clean underneath though ,no nasty bashes or repairs.


I'll be out tomorrow night as usual *******.(you know who)
