i m almost certain its a shell one stu but could be wrong but im 99.9% its shell

 

on there site it says horncastle as the nearest to us, so i might be wrong about louth then

 

just rang shell and they said next week before they get any here because all there tankers are going down south to the big fire last week. Thats what they just told me lads.
So it looks like scunny or horncastle

 

The 'shell' garage you are talking about is actually an 'esso' garage - used to live in louth + only filled up my van up with diesel there last week. they do sell 97ron super unleaded but it's usually quite expensive.

 

tesco are doing 97 ron you know! you can get it at the humberstone one

or if i get caught out i use sainsburys 97 (only 2p more than 95) but its not as potent as optimax. my cars run fine on it tho many a time when shell was charging £1 per litre.

 

oh and ads's scooby wagon has been found. its not wrecked or burnt out thank god. hope its not been raged to death tho

dont ask me wot it was it just had a green label on it saying 97

 

Waste of time, I ended up putting some Texaco 95 Ron and a bottle of octane booster (STP) no rating on the bottle though and it was a fiver.

 

I also need some 5W 40 oil for my car, I could'nt find any of that either.

 

are you after branded oil or some cheap stuff? if its cheap then go to ME AUTOPARTS. they do cheap semi for £6. i use GTX magnatec in mine £20 for 5 litres. asda have quite a good selection. we got 5 litres of Mobil 1 10/40 mineral for £8 (oil and filter for vix car tomorrow ).
