stew's going to have a look for me later. I spoke to rick yesterday and he said it might be the air flow meter if i red lined it. He said the same as you , if the lights gone out just ignore it

ive just got up. sat up playing max payne2 last night. cant belive it i need to work on the pug and its pissing it down.

lee~ im going to paint my brakes black. i thought about red but ive gone off the idea. also 5~40 oil is a bit too thin m8 esp for a sti with mods. i use 10~40 magnatec synthetic. ive heard a lot of people use 15~50 as in the summer it can take better temperatures without breaking down. get oil filter as well. i have a tool to remove it if you dont

jez~ ive been to medow hall m8 in the scoob. £25 @ 80mph there and back.

john~ iffy e-bayers m8 dont bother with them. id allways collect things like wheels myself anyways as wheels are expensive and could have splits/dings or be more crap than explained on ebay!

for our cars john you can get better oil but it does the job. if you were to do a full track day the 10-40 magnatec may brake down under the heat but for a fast road car it is fine ("scooby clinic"). i paid £16.99 from halfrauds and got 4.5L. thats just enough for a re-fill and filter change like i said to lee i have an oil filter tool if you need it.

i want half life2. i have h/l generation pack and its an awsome set of games.

oh and ive had on my wet gear and done the alternator on the pug. fookin battery light is staying on tho but it starts no probs now.

Lee, if thats you with the STi, i know there are two Lee's!! But if it is you with the type R, you really could do with 15w 50 oil (recommended by most tuners). I put this is when serviced last week costs a bit but the car does need it. No reason to skimp on oil when its your engine at stake I put silkolene pro r in cost about £45 for 5 litres.
Also, super tourismo's are great wheels just a bit of a bitch to clean. I had some on my last car in white and they did look the business!

Just got back from meadowhall, was just over 3/4 full when i left now just have enough to get to the garage for a refill!!! never mind part and parcel of ownership i guess.

A pic of my old car and wheels

No you spelt it the same as me lee and we were both wrong. I now think it is spelt ( callipers). Pair of thick tw@ts.

Did you get the wheels then? they look well smart on jez's old evo. Then again the evo looks smart full stop.

If i knew you before jez i might have had that evo off you m8. I take it that pic was at hubbards hills in louth?

Then again i love my SCOOBYS.

about that light on my car, ive got 7 pages of paper work about how to reset your ECU and all the codes for what the fault is and so on.

But on page 3 of the 7 it says if the light goes out when you restart your car there is no fault, but just drive you car steady for 5 mins.

So now i dont know what to think. The subaru garage said it might be a loose connection. But i'll still bring them down on thur stew

i think it may be a good idea to meet with the hull scoobs maybe at the donny services on the m18?

paul we will have a look anyways at your ecu if it makes you feel better. it only takes 5-10 mins max. subaru garages will say owt to get you off the phone . it came on then it was for a reason.

Got rid about 2 or 3 months ago. Finance was expensive and it was too much of a beast just to run to work and back, never got chance to drive it properly and was a bitch anywhere in traffic due to the twin plate clutch, so it had to go....was a very sad day but life goes on, and at least my wallet is a bit heavier these days!!

I believe that the super T's are really light as well Lee, good choice are you getting them in gold or silver?
You have also unsettled me seeing your type R, i was happy with the wagon but now my eyes are starting to stray!!
