The resident ******** appeared when you started the thread....********. Still phobic/obsessed about pink? You should take advice about that.

How's the imaginary car you don't own?

Ah-ha, you slipped up there Mr Lewis.
No motorways in the UK during the war - therefore you were batting for the other side and driving on autobahns to learn that trick.
Your cover is blown as one of last ***** in hiding and I claim my £10 reward for finding you.

It's illegal to coast for more than a very short distance.

Oh, yeah, and like I'm going to get caught??

An old fella of 76 can get away with anything .... you wouldn't believe how feeble I can look when stopped by the Fuzzie Woozzies!!

I said that I learnt the COASTING technique during the war ..... I never said I drove on motorways in the war years!!

I got 50,000 miles out of the factory pads on my 02 STi!

The pads still had plenty of meat on them, I only changed them because the car had it's service and it suited me to get everything done at once.

I'm up to 30,000 now in my Spec B and still on original pads.

Pete would be proud of me.

I am proud of you .... you can clearly drive properly, top man!!

There is no pride to be earned in wearing you pads out at some stupid mileage like 10,000miles!!

Angry

Anybody who *IS* gettin more than 10k miles from their pads is quite obviously not using the car properly and should be driving a ford focus 1.6 or the equilvalent.
