And SJ, I can hand on heart say no to all those even after being at uni because:
I lived on the 3rd floor
Never, I was never that skint
Not in the street, always managed to get back to campus
I don't drink lager
Always had bills, as its cheaper. (its 10 - 15% more expensive to have PAYG power)

5% only But my student house in Nottm had PAYG meters (just as well we didn't have bills due to nasty bitch who wouldn't pay her share of anything!), I've had an impreza and I have hoop earrings although they're Paloma Picasso from Tiffany
PS the capital of Australia is not Sydney either!
