I dont think the PS3 launch games will have the technology they are showcasing, but 6-12 months after launch I think the games will be approaching the new level.

They should announce it'll be free, that'll give MS a scare... although I'm glad the occasional online player like me doesn't have to fork out £40 a year now due to the Gold & Silver services on the 360 - nice one MS 
Be nice if MS & Sony can come to an agreement about a cross-live arena. I personally find the TimeSplitters series the best for FPS action - Halo takes itself too seriously, you can't beat dressing up as Elvis to go kill monkeys!
