Yes we are allowed opinions and when i first replied to a thread i didnt insult anybody, so why does that give you free reign to insult me? You made your mind up about me but i dont give **** what you think either. What you think and beleive in doesnt apply to me and i take offence at your comments implying that i pissed my money up the wall. Maybe in future you shouldnt make comments about people you dont know. and no it is not rag week but what my menstrual cycle has got to with you is anybodys guess. Grow up.

Well, simple fact is, I would cash-in!!

Those who wouldn't are mis-guided and will always be poor ... maybe they will get their prizes in heaven ... I'll take my prizes when I can down here if its all the same with you

To my mind, if someone has overspent to keep up with however they think they should keep up with and then the grim reaper comes calling then tough - they are the very ones who have driven the market up in the first place.

Remember they never leave the houses clean and clear ... they smash them up, sell fixtures, **** all over even

Pete

Blimy, never gonna win am I, not that theres owt to win... How many more times. who said I judged you???? did I quote a message from you saying you have been pi55ing your money up the wall? no........ I simply made a statement that DOES refer to alot of situations, not exactly yours, many friends and even family have a simialar problem to you where they cant afford to buy a house that they would like in an area they would like.... But they chose a different route 4 years ago instead of buying, simple as......

Grow up? I suggest you look at yourself... As I said, I HAVENT JUDGED YOU IN THE SLIGHTEST would you like to pick out a post from myself that is directed at yourself? no you cant.... I didnt judge you at all, so please dont resort to childish name calling and then tell me to grow up

I dont normally fall out with people on forums, but in your reply it was like you were personally attacking me because i cant afford to buy. I am sorry for telling you to .... off and as you rightly stated everybody has their opinions. Just maybe you should realise that some people will take offence when widesweeping statements are made. I know that being into subarus doesnt mean that we are all going to get on with each other but i guess it will happen from time to time.

Yes but thats why my "widesweeping statements" were followed up by a comments suggesting it doesnt go for everybody... there are obviously other cases where it was hard for people to buy for whatever reason... thats none of my business to know, hence why I didnt ask...

And FYI Im not really into subarus anymore this is non scooby related, I only come here for the banter and interesting threads now Im not 1 for falling out either, admittedly I like my debates but not name calling etc...

Think we'll leave it there now, its enough arguing (debating) from me tonight, off to bed...

p.s. I wouldnt expect too much of a crash

night all

Around 3 years ago my wife and I had a nice 3 bedroomed semi-detached house, out of town and on a small "executive" style housing estate.

The mortgage was easily affordable and we had a good standard of living.

We got a whisper of a property which was coming up for "rent with a view to buy" , so went for it, as it was exactly what we needed........on a farm, with acess to lots of land for the wife's horse.

Two and a half years down the line and there's been no sign of the "with a view to buy", so we've had to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, very bad timing means that I'm going to be faced with three times the mortgage for a property that's no better than the one we had three years ago.

I'm not a daft young lad and didn't "****" my money up the wall.......I just got caught by the housing market!!

**** happens and we make mistakes. I just hope there isn't a housing "crash". or I'm going to end up moving again.........just at the WRONG time!!!

Bugger!!!!
