Hiya guys
The front right hand corner is smashed due to some numpty getting the front spoiler stuck when taking it off the recovery wagon, after it had to be towed home due to an electrical fault. The previously mentioned numpty has now vanished into thin air leaving yours truely with a £900 bill for a new front bumper, spraying, fitting, indicators, and bulbs!

Bad news mate.....
Often the case that silly little breakdowns cause equally silly but much larger repercussions..... My alarm failed a few years back and, while the car was being pushed into the dealers, the rear panel got bent....

Guys.. It looks like I'm off for this one..
Timing is a little awakward as I may not have the WRS by then. If I do, it won't be long before I'm handing the keys over and don't want to be giving it a bash over the Strines 'Just in case'.. As the 'soon to be owner' probably won't want it in a a few boxes..
Even if the timing is good.. then I'll not be able to run the new one too hard..
And there's no point spending money on a sitter for a passeneger seat.. You know I'd crawl over broken glass to get to go, but I need my sensible hat on.. know what I mean?
BTW.. Crawling over broken glass IS sensible, if there's a run to be had..

Tell ya what - borrow mi MTB, you'll be as fast as Sticky over the hills, that's for sure.
Anyway, I thought that the social aspect of a good WYIOC run was as important as the driving.... Ask some of our regular participants...

C'mon - don't be a wet blanket/damp squib/part-time chairman.... We'll all volunteer to give you a lift and share cars with you during this traumatic period.

PS. Al has stated in private correspondence that there is a strong likelihood of attendance..... We'll see....

We need to be moving things along to organise everything for the NBO.

Never stated intention eh, well I best make amends for that now then.
Rest assured I will be attending regardless of the warped discs and intermittent fault
will be joining up near Ikea being as I have absolutely no idea where any of the other places are
