excellent route tonight, if I say so myself
Using the A515 buxton to ashbourne road as the spine, we zig zagged all around that area, covering some ground.
A big hello goes out to mtr who joined us at the last minute, and I think enjoyed himself.
Nice car you've got there beefy, can I have the first go after you around curborough then?

See you all again soon,
chris.

ps, mad was a no-show as he "forgot" it was on! Probably told he couldn't come by her indoors

Nice route Chris, thanks for making the effort.

I know how much of a *** it can be, both in time and cost to recce a route out.
The pace was just right, no need for heroics, but I thought you werer taking the safety aspect a bit far when you got us a Police escort for a large section of the run.

The chap in the Z4 had pulled over and hung back at the start of the 'hill' only to catch our convoy later.
Plod must have been chuckling to himself.
But it did give me chance to take in the stunning scenery. I may take the family out for a run over the same roads, slowly though.

Tony,
Now you know that 300bhp in a newage is no quicker than 280bhp in a Classic. Power/weight.

I enjoyed the run, and its nice to put names to faces. I don't think I will be attending on a regular basis, as I explained my wifes work pattern means I have no free evening time (the mail must get through!!) and weekends become somewhat taken up with family commitments.

Cheers
MTR

Thanks beefy, I knew you'd say yes

mtr, yep, lovely scenery up around those parts, although a bit better during the day, and cruising at 30
I thought the police escort was a nice touch, and I was so tempted to overtake him, he did keep it at 60 most of the way though, so didn't want to risk it.
I thought it was an s2000, not a z4! either way, stopping and waiting a while never works, you end up getting stuck behind a caravan
See you again soon m8, nice to have met you.
chris.

Chris,
Z4, S2000, some smallish 2 seater sports car type thingy.
They all look the same to me.

Cheers

Great run chris, well done again m8.

Really enjoyed it, not sure about the other half though, she had her eyes closed on a couple of corners lol.

MTR, was interesting to see the difference between your's and mine, or lack of difference hehe, i knew you had more power and you were going to try n come past me on that last stretch but that extra 25bhp seems to spent on carrying that extra weight, faster out of the bends though.

Lovely car though .

See you on the next run chris, maybe you too MTR.
