Paying your mortgage off by 27 and having owned 12 houses by the time you were 35 means nothing considering you come from M/bro. Property was even more worthless up there back in the 18th century when you were a lad than it is now. I could probably buy the entire town with the small change I'd find down the back of the sofa, if I was gullible( small 'g') enough to bother.

Nice to see you're still prepared to boast about how well you've supposedly done.....suspect that really you live on cuppa soup and migraine tablets in a squat in Toxteth, and have an impressionable young ' friend ' who shows you how to hack into an unsuspecting neighbours computer to continue with your ' boring a forum rigid ' regime.

Think of the pleasure you'd give to thousands by conducting an in-depth one man investigation into euthanasia.

Now awaiting with baited breath your inevitable reference to the colour of my car....the originality, the breadth of imagination......

Btw, an engineer as well as everything else, qualified at all, or talking bollox as usual? I suspect if you really had any mechanical/electrical knowledge, you'd know more than you do.

Sequel starts when Petes incontinence nurse gets him up to go to the toilet. After unloading his catastrophe bag, she'll help him back to the computer, where he'll spend the rest of the day filling us with ****e instead.

I find advice on how to treat people to be a bit rich coming from someone who I consider to be one of the rudest people I have ever encountered...

David, I'm not sure this is correct at all. The oil pressure in the system helps the oil reach places it wouldn't do otherwise. It also no doubt helps the oil circulate around the engine (the increase in pressure that the pump provide is enabling this. The "pressure" that you refer to is the pressure of the oil being squeezed between two metal surfaces that would otherwise be touching. This is a huge, huge pressure that vastly increases the ability of the oil to retain the film thickness immensely and provides it with the ability to keep the surfaces apart. This is in the EHD (elastohydrodynamic) regime of lubrication. Maybe I am preaching to a knowledgable tribologist?

This is better ....

I think we can all now agree that the Impreza Turbo can have its Oil Changed in the 'Normal' accepted way and no damage will result.

To do otherwise is a waste of time and effort and could be considered **** - however, everyone to their own ...... some people feel happier doing the 15 walks around the car dressed as Morris Dancers. If it helps you get through the day, then so be it ....

You either need to:-

1. Get out more

2. Cut your mummies apron strings

3. Open your eyes

4. Hang about with 'Normal' people

I cannot believe that plenty of people haven't been rude to you!!

If you don't 'Get It' then you don't get it ........

Others can enjoy if they want to ..... or do you want us ALL to be serious *****??

Anyway, I am only rude to those who ask for it ..... hence why I am at a loss as to explain why Matt P hasn't experienced it daily

What, you think I'm now 'shattered' 'cos of your mind blowingly imaginative response? Unfortunately, as you say, car hasn't sold....I'll live. Hopefully, you won't for much longer!
Right, better get back to my 'glass house' , whatever the hell that means.

If you have charm, then my congratulations on your unrivalled ability to keep it so well hidden.
Was a bit harsh you're right, you're clearly already dead. And no, I don't know you and I thank God on a daily basis for that particular forgiveness.
Thank you for your concern over the sale of my car.....seems you're more bothered than I am about that. Still, I have a nice shiny Evo to help me get over it.
Oh, and stop trying to think, I've told you before, the smell makes me unwell.

IMO it comes down to a race between the oil film being reduced versus sufficient new oil being available at the bearings to maintain it.

I suppose worn bearings would allow a greater 'splash' and eject more oil each revolution decreasing the chances of oil pressure building quickly enough.
