A few spurious thoughts....
1) The more you learn, the more you realise just how little you actually know
2) A day spent without learning something is a day wasted
3) Life has no regard for egos, and will prove you wrong just as you think you truly understand.
I've only ever claimed to tinker with stuff and I think that's all I ever will claim, safest option since reality is spiteful and O'Reilly's Law is omnipresent.
