Lightbulb Tyres

God I must be sleeping. just read Poppop's question bout tyres.
I have just put a set of four Goodyear F1 Eagles (225/45/17) on mine, best I could find was about £115 a corner.
Got them eventually over the border in Donegal at a place near Bridge end, total cost 400 euro fitted and balanced. think this works out about 67 quid a corner. The place is called Callaghans, I can give directions if this is a good price for you

Hi Richard. Good to see your still about.
A meet would be good - preferably before my wife (to be on Saturday) sneaks my car into the trader!.

if you dont mind me asking, what do you pay for insurance?

i've been checking out a bug-eye wrx with ppp, up at autopoint in ballyclare but the cheapest quote i've got is £2500! yet i've been driving 17 years, go figure.

Im 32, fully comp, full no claims, am paying £1100

Will go down to £900 next year as had someone ran in to the back of me and it put my insuarance up a few hundred quid, makes you wonder why you pay for a protected no claims and fully comp.

I was with elephant (admiral) last year, this year they stuck a bit on top ,
went to admiral who were 30% cheaper! than to bell (also part of admiral)
and got another 20 quid off - moral of the story - I don't really know,
its all a bit confusing!
