Have seen this before, some freinds moved in to an expensive house, with three small kids, they got the keys later afternoon, got in, it went dark and there were no lights, not even ceiling roses, all the bathroom fittings (i.e towel rails etc). Not impressed, they vented their anger by going to B and Q and being very racist about the previous occupants, dont know why that helped but they were very angry.

Basically I thionk you can change the fitting when you know you are moving, when someone comes to see you house thats how it should be sold, neighbours changed over the road, new ones werent impressed with the loft full of crap and piles of rubble hidden in the garden.
Heard about one where they found a huge plastic drum in the garden, wondered what it was for, turned out the owner had been scooping dog **** from his two hounds into it for ten years along with the rotting body of one of the dogs, it started to split when they tried to move it.
