I thought you said you'd sacked the washer when you found out about that?

Wasn't quite 6:29.671 on Saturday at my place was it Dazza?

He blamed the steering wheel, but I reckon it had something to do with my offer to pose a'la Neeve that had him posting deliberately slow times

7:12 with a 501 BHP Spec C... Mmm..

Still learning the course with less than 10 laps under my belt.. But maybe a little finesse is required seeing that Dazza did it with 276..

Nice time mate.. give me some more practice..

Just done it in 6:59 in Dazza's car, but it is VERY difficult with the wheel, especially with force feedback, 'twitchy' is not the word for it. On the limit it's un-fookin-driveable.

For a bit quicker challenge why not try the Autumn Ring Mini circuit. Very twisty and really short.

Clocked a 32.828, again in Dazza's car. I reckon sub 30 seconds is possible with a bit more grip.

There isn't one in the game. Even the MR's only got 276 brake. I have had a go in that, but the performance was erm... not very lifelike. I think Subaru must have paid Polyphony Digital to ensure that the Spec-C was quicker. Corrupt software developers! Whatever next

Mat, the challenge is to use the Spec C Impreza, with the bhp capped at 360. You can have any drivetrain, suspension, brake or weight mods but nothing to add power.

The general concensus on steering wheels is that they can actually be slower, as reaction times are compromised. Think how long it takes to go from full lock to full lock on a wheel, and how much quicker the same input can be acheived on the analogue sticks.

Good luck

...not entirely true, there's an open class where you can use anything you want.

...and I still can't get anywhere near Dazza

OK team...

Here's one for the unlimited cat...

6:02.334

In a Skyline of all things...!

the max so far in an unlimited Spec-C is 6:15.554

Will be thinking of a suitable pic for the validation...

in the meantime i've found a use for those Piggy wing mirror stickers Sticky gave me...

I was checking out if they have stuck properly at the time of the photographic evidence and completly missed the screen! Oops!

Oi.. will you stop reducing that time!!! I've just applied some downforce and got to 6:54.. more tweaking to be done.. course is getting recognisable now...

Then again.. considering the 'specialist' nature of the validation pics .. Ignore the above request.. I want to see how 'clear' they get before the thread or post gets vaped!!

Genius..
