I'm not gonna go into details, rest assured that it's nothing that anyone on here has done, it's purely down to me, the car will be staying, and i shall attend the meets where ever they may be.......

I think it's something that doesn't necessarily need a leader... but if you want to Gunner, be our guest We need kicking up the **** occasionally
Anyone doing Brighton tomorrow? Or are you all doing boring things like DIY, shopping or Gardening?

Guy's and gal...
Having thought about my reasons for not wishing to carry on telling you lot where to go each month, i thought it was only fair to explain some of the reasoning behind my ideas...
Other areas of the country seem to have a very active Scooby crew... we have a gang which seem to plod along.... so my thoughts were that maybe it's time for a fresh approach, as i am not ina financial position to go off to all the other meets/events that some do, i was wondering wether if the dorset gang was lead by someone who is more interested in these other things that maybe that person might be able to encourage a few more people along to the meets, and might mean that a few more people get to go to other meets/events..... It bit difficult to put into words....
However... if everyones really is happy with the way things are/were, then i guess i could be persuaded to carry on.... after-all.. if no0one else will do it... better the devil you know eh....
Opinions/ideas sought...

What you worried about Ron plodding along is how most people like these meetings,
no pressure to turn up, nice and relaxed when you do.
Don't doubt yourself Ron you are doing a top job, believe me, please keep it up

I know I don't get to many meets, but always appreciate what you do organise.
It works well for all, so don't change it for the sake of it.
I'm sure if others wanted something different, they would either help you out organising it, or organise it themselves. Doesn't mean they don't appreciate what you do all the other times.
Cheers

Ron,
I think the meets are great(when I get to come along!),all the people are a good friendly bunch, and I think we all have a keen interest in the cars we drive but we also have other things which occupy our lives!!So don't give up mate,as that Dorset bunch need someone to keep them controlled.
If in the warmer weather you would like to venture into sunny Wiltshire, let me know.
Regards
Dean
